Dear Ed,

can you please give us a summary of all the chelsea activities in transfer market, can we expect a signing and so on.

Ed, If Chelsea sell victor Moses which player might Chelsea target for that position? {Ed018's Note - we have brought in Schurrle and have De Bruyne. Not sure if we need another player for that position}

Are we pushing for a deal regarding de Rossi ed018? {Ed018's Note - I have not heard anything regarding De Rossi for a few days now so i'm not sure if there have been any talks about him or not}

Believable4 Unbelievable3

Ed surely were not going to stick with Mikel again are we? We have signed van Ginkel but he's more box to box De Rossi would be great.

The times in London reports that Rooney is ready to submit transfer in order to force his move to chelsea. Also the telegraph reports that the ' not for sale' stance by manchester united is ploy to irritate Rooney in order to make him submit a transfer request so that absolve themselves of any blame in the saga. They also know that Mourinho will return with an improved bid. Hope this is true. What do you think?

Believable16 Unbelievable4

God no, please do not entertain the thought of Rooney at Chelsea. It's clearly a goal scorer that we need, not a petulant, slow, trouble-maker ( on and off the pitch. ) If he was signed, and was on the bench, how long before he sulks at the Bridge. Have we not had enough of these players, Torres & Drogba, to name but two. There must be at least 2 good young strikers out there, added to Lukaku, and trade Ba & Torres.

Agree0 Disagree0

Rooney is a world class striker. How anyone wouldn't want him at Chelsea amazes me!

Agree0 Disagree1

I would personally like Rooney to come to the Bridge. He's one of them players you would rather have on your team rather than playing against you. With Mourinho being who he is, I don't think Rooney's attitude will be a match for Mourinho's.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah cause he had a world class season last year

Agree0 Disagree0

Mate, he had the same stats as Mata in less games lol. Think before you post.

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't want him at chelsea. he's never proved he's world class - and his best position is behind a main striker - where were not short of (IMO better) options.

Look how completely useless he is for England as the lone front man.

Agree1 Disagree0

He's a competitive player, who shows his emotion on the field and he gives a damn about winning, something we were badly missing last season. Mata, Hazard and Oscar are excellent players, but emotionless. Rooney will bring us another dimension. I think we need a player like him.

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't think any players England performances should be counted. Not like they've ever give a whole load whilst playing for England. I agree with the poster saying he would prefer him in the team rather than against. Would be useful in the tight, close spaces as Jose already touched on. If there were other players available then maybe look elsewhere but it worth a gamble with the like of Falcao and Cavani deciding to settle on France

Agree0 Disagree0

Rooney has scored 8 goals in his last 10 competitive games (playing up front) for England. Think before you speak!

Agree0 Disagree0

Chill out, more of a dig at the England team in general.
