If Willian and Pedro leave I’d happily take Mertens as a squad player if we need a goal. But we need to bring Bailey in as the other replacement to start.

If Willian and Pedro leave we'll likely get a Bailey or a Malcom as a starting RW. I'd then rather Hudson-Odoi be our backup winger over Mertens. May only be 17 but he's good enough to feature in this team. I'd much rather keep him around, play him in the Domestic cup games and the early stages of Europa whilst learning from the likes of Hazard and Sarri than send him on some pointless loan were his needs aren't a priority.

If Willian leaves, yea we might see one of Bailey, Lemar, Fekir, Pulisic etc. I don't want 'old' players.

We need 4 wingers for a 4-3-3. If we can sign Bailey him and Hazard should start. Mertens and Hudson-Odoi would be great backs ups. They will also get loads of game time with the capital one cup and Europa league games too so no one needs to worry about Odoi not playing.

I thought Athletico's interest in Lemar was tied to Griezmann leaving Athletico Madrid for Barcelona. Good to know that he's still Athletico bound.
