Does Chelsea want to buy the entire Juventus team? Rugani, Caldara, Higuain and today it's Pjanic- all link to Chelsea.

pjanic ( I’m big fan of ) in midfield of kante and Jorginho isn’t fret for me, pnanic similar to Jorginho, all great at
Keeping ball and working hard and passing but where will the goals from midfield come from? Plus with possibly bailey or fekir and hazard. that’s pretty small team?

I’d prefer Golovin to Pjanic he’s younger a better finisher, he’s fast and has a fantastic work rate.

The media take the Mic, the more you don't read the better you feel.

The only Juve player we should be buying is Dybala.

I would take Pjanic every time. To me Golovin is too lightweight for the EPL and a goal every eight games. Pjanic is strong and has a superb free kick and he has played at a higher level.

I prefer we get Golovin (not Pjanic) ; he's young (can improve), his low centre of gravity combined with his work rate gives him good advantage for that position.

This lightweight theory has made teams lose out on very good players eg. Ferguson thought Ozil was lightweight before Mourinho snapped him up to Real Madrid and he became a blast; same thing Chelsea thought about Ericksen- see how successful he's become at Tottenham; or Modric before he went to Tottenham, the list continues.

21 Jul 2018 18:54:44
Good point on Ericksen as well as Modric a lot of top teams thought he was lightweight before spurs bought him.

the difference is i haven't seem go lovin ever stand out in cl or europa league and i thought he was absoloutely bang average at the world cup. you'd imagine he would shine some bit in a poor side but he didn't so im wondering if he's good enough to be honest.

Agree0 Disagree0

21 Jul 2018 21:26:04
We all know that Golovin is not 'complete' just yet (which partially explains the transfer fee that he commands) but at his young age, he's got a good work rate, potential to improve and the attributes of good midfield player. Most of the top midfielders that we know today aren't as good as he is at his age right now. I think he's a decent player right now but If he plays constantly in the EPL or a top European league for one or two seasons- he will be brown sugar (up there) .

i hope your right obina about golovin cause it seems inevitable now.

Can you please name the other player who Chelsea have agreed to sign? And also the three names that are going to leave.

I don't think they give updates on Chelsea transfers as something had happened in the past in regards to ed002. someone was giving him a hard time.

20 Jul 2018 20:02:28
I am just going to guess based on the rumours that the player we have agreed a deal for is GOLOVIN. And the three players we have agreed to let go are Cahill, Drinkwater and Giroud. I think Jorginho has replaced Drinkwater, Rugani will replace Cahill and Higuain will replace Giroud. Golovin being the extra midfielder needed for a 3 man midfield. I think apart from these courtuois will go and I think might be replaced by Donnaruma. Morata will go I think and I would want icardi to be the replacement but I think Batsuhayi might stay with us or an outside chance of Martial. If we get Bailey I think Pedro will leave. I think the club will want to hold onto Willian and Hazard but If they both go we might hazard replaced by asensio and if Willian goes I have no idea who we will target. So we will have Jorginho, Kante, Golovin, RLC (if he doesn't talk his way out of the club), Barkley Bakayoko and Fabregas as the midfielders. I think we might try to sell Fabregas but due to his wages it will be difficult and it might result in someone going on loan.

We will have Rugani, Luiz, Christensen and Rudiger as CBs. Azpi, one of Moses/ zapacosta as RB and Alonso/ Emerson as LB. But In my opinion if an offer comes for Alonso we should grab it with both hands and try and sell both Moses and zapacosta. We can replace them with Aina and da Silva or if we want we can sign Luke Shaw (terrible attitude but I think he is Chelsea fan and sarri has knack of improving players) for LB and Rudiger can be the backup RB (he played there for Roma sometimes) and zouma/ tomori/ kalas can be 4th choice cb

For attack the best case scenario would be hazard, Higuain and Willian with Bailey, morata and Callum Hudson or Charly Musonda.

That is what I think might happen but obviously I am not expert or have any sources who can tell me this so there is good chance everything will happen opposite to this. 😂😂😂😂.

charly musonda? he sat on the bench in 1 of the worst leagues in europe so i doubt hel be near d first team. he needs a loan an he needs to take his chance an shine.

Interesting reading on the Man United banter page that Chelsea have agreed to two players arriving this summer. Obviously one being Jorginho who's already arrived and the other I'm assuming is Rugani. Ed002 also said we are continuing talks today regarding a couple of other players, so no need to panic guys! He also said we've agreed to selling three who still remain at the club. I'm assuming one is TBo but the others are anyone's guess! Just hoping it's not Hazard and Kante otherwise I might cry a little.

It looks like Chelsea is about to make an official offer of €50m+ for Rugani- with first option in case of a sale belonging to Juventus. Maybe that would do the deal. Who knows if Ed002 means that?

From what we have gotten from the press- Hazard, Willian, Courtois, Kante, Pedro, D. Luiz, Cahill, Bakayoko etc. all have certain degree of question marks over their heads.

Hazard's father and legal representatives (entourage) will meet with Real Madrid, Real Madrid is reportedly ready to submit an offer of not more than €125 million to Chelsea. This will happen on Saturday.

The negotiations for Hazard won't be tied to the the ones that Real Madrid is holding for goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois. Real Madrid has already reached an economic agreement (personal terms) with Courtois, while they are yet to agree a deal with Chelsea, but they will try and reach it in the next few hours. This is from DiMarzio.

This is why we don't discuss finances.

As RJ says we don't like to discuss finances. However, if I were to find out that Hazard and Courtois together only bring in £150m I'd be extremely disappointed. Don't think Chelsea will be taken for mugs in the case of Hazard. With regards to Tbo we have no choice but to sell to be honest.

im not being funny but who in their right mind would want to sign bakayoko or morata after last season? really thought morata was the business. first 2 or 3 months then went to absolute rubbish and looked like torres more and more by the week maybe not pl suited we'll see diego is the ultimate number 9 should of never been sold.

Diego costa wanted to leave. Lukaku was the real one we missed on. Sorry to keep bringing it up with the absolute denial from Chelsea fans when we dithered around and he chose united was incredible. We missed out on a top premier league striker and got Morata and Bakayoko which the people on here said were ‘upgrades’ on Clsta and Matic. Incredible.

Agree3 Disagree5

20 Jul 2018 08:34:06
Costa wanted out and I am sure he would have continued to be belligerent if we tried to keep him. I have always said that Bayakoko was one of our biggest waste of money and I felt for Drinkwater who was never given a run in the team as he did. If Morata had continued as he started nobody would mention Costa and as much as I think he is unsuited to the physical side of the EPL something went wrong. Whether he was carrying a back injury, whether he he had issues with Conte or whether as he said a number of times, he found London difficult to settle in, maybe if he stays it will come good again. Lukkaku left behind some enemies within the club so returning was always going to be difficult.

Agree0 Disagree0

20 Jul 2018 08:45:02
I still by my feelings from the start, Lukaku ain't the striker for us. I see his first touch let's him down, it's not like his had an exceptional season. I think he only scored 1 goal vs top teams and that was us.

Agree1 Disagree0

20 Jul 2018 08:45:22
Both players aren't bad players, and they haven't just turned into bad players overnight.

Taking Morata first, he hit the ground running (Barring the pen miss in the Charity Shield) 10 goals up to the end of December, and we all said we had something special. A back injury, which he chose to play through obviously affected him. He didn't look the same player at all. 11 league goals and 6 assists in a season when an injury played a part is a very good return imo. Moving Morata on "cos he's crap" is not an option. If Sarri says he doesn't fit, that's a different story.

It's harder to make a case of Bakayoko, of course. Based on his last season with Monaco, he should have everything to suit the Premier League, yet he showed very little to prove this. He's looks strong and powerful but didn't stamp himself on the game last season. There's a case to be made that Contes system didn't suit/ he wasn't being used to his strengths. With Jorginho and Kante behind him, is there a case to be made for allowing Baka just to focus on driving forward?

In regards to losing Costa and Matic, it's public knowledge that both players tried to leave Chelsea before we won the league in Contes 1st season. In Costas case, he's been looking for that move for longer. Everyone focuses on Contes text to Costa, but it's reported that "Costa replied in a jokey way" to an enjoy the holidays text. Costa is a B*stard, we loved the way everyone else hated him, but "jokey way", I don't believe that. Costa and Conte definitely didn't see eye to eye.

20 Jul 2018 08:55:36
I still think Bakayoko will come good, he deserves a chance and a season without everyone jumping on his back. His physicality is impressive and if he gets his head screwed on then he will become good, people forget how he played for Monaco in their title winning season and run to the CL semis. Morata I'm less convinced, I hate his antics and his attitude.

20 Jul 2018 09:12:36
Lukaku made some enemies? Since when? Never heard anything of the sort.

The reason he didn’t return was because we didn’t bid for him to try get Everton to take their price down. United bid for him and made him feel wanted and once we matched Their bid it was too late.

Good summary dihanio, I agree totally with what you said.

Agree2 Disagree0

20 Jul 2018 13:50:02
Ed002 said numerous times that Lukaku had burnt his bridges with many people higher up at Chelsea and many people were against resigning him, whilst one person tried to convince the club to take another chance on him. Not sure if I'm making this up or if I actually remember correctly but I believe this person was Eddie Newton, maybe someone can confirm though.

dihanio: Very sensible assessment and shows how we all view things differently. I had an issue with Bayakoko all season often referring to him as an athlete trying to play football. As we have him I would like to think there is more to him than he showed but to me he is not Sarri's type of player.
