Was interested if anybody knows our options for full backs in this window. There's been a lot of talk about Mendy, Bertrand and Aurier but hasn't been concrete interest and just rumours. I know we've had interest with Sandro and Danilo for some time but with both doubtful now, was wondering if there are other options the board would look at.

I don't Get Why We're not looking at Jetro Willems - would be a good back up for Alonso, and presumably happy as 2nd choice, but seems Roma-bound.

There's still a chance Sandro will come in, he hasn't signed a a new Juve deal yet. I'd actually like to see Bertrand come back if Sandro opts to stay. I think Moses and Azpilicueta will remain our main options on the right - Pedro put a couple of shifts in there last season too.

Toljan for RWB and either Alex Sandro or Mendy for LWB and we are a force again.

I think we should get LWB first as we do not have cover for Alonso.
Moses and Azpli can do job at RWB, and Rudiger is also capable of playing at right back.
Yes we can improve both wing backs but I think LWB should be first priority.

Yeah Sandro would be the dream signing and a cover cm but the whole Sandro saga has been weird. Mendy is better than Betrand imo but as samrat said i think the board would consider Betrand ahead of him due to being homegrown and we don't have many of them. A Lb is definitely more of a priority than the Rb position as we have a few players who are capable of playing there. Still a lot of time left in the window so who knows. Fingers crossed that Sandro will happen.

Thumbs up Chelsea for a good job so far in transfer window.
BUT the Alex Sandro deal is looking like it's going to be a dead horse (stop beating it) move unto B. Mendy while its still not late. Benjamin Mendy is equally a good player.

Perhaps it's more of a risk in the sense that he's not as established as Alex Sandro or Mendy but I'd go for Grimaldi if we can't get the other two. Or go for Pereira as he can play on both sides.

If Mendy moves (which is doubtful), it won't be to Chels. I think a 2nd striker is our priority followed by midfield cover (unless someone from our loan list catches Conte's eye pre-season as Moses did last year) .

I can see Bertrand joining. But yet again were trying to resign someone we let go. No doubt getting our pants pulled down over the price too.

Kenedy is a very good player (his body movement is out of this world) but he will need games to reach that initial form he came to Chelsea with (and then improve) .
So a loan where he plays week-in week-out.
{Ed001's Note - I expect one more to come in, though I would personally like to see some of the youngsters given the chance.}
