Eds, I would like your opinion on how a lack of European football (albeit hopefully only for a single season), will impact upon our ability to sign top level talent. Will it be as big an issue as many seem to be making out, or will our purchasing power adequately alleviate this issue?

Secondly, I would be interested in any insights that you may have regarding scouting of Brazilian players, given our current interest in players from that nation.

Appreicate your efforts and insights, keep up the good work!

{Ed002's Note - (a) There is no major concern with any of the players being considered at this time. It would be down to individual players if they do not wish to be considered or not. (b) I am not sure what your question is. The club has representation in Brazil and it is known that it is often difficult to relocate players from South America due to the step change in environment, culture, food, language etc..}

Sorry I should have been clearer; are any players currently playing for Brazilian clubs under consideration; I am specifically referring to young stars like Walace Souza Silva of Gremio, Gabriel Barbosa and Thiago Maia of Santos and Gabriel Jesus of Palmeiras?

{Ed002's Note - Walace is of interest to a couple of clubs including one London side - but not Chelsea. Gabriel is of interest to many sides including Chelsea but he might well end up in Italy. Santos' Thiago Maia is of interest to several sides with Chelsea, Fiorentina and another EPL side having spoken to his agent. MOnaco had an offer rejected.}

Ed i know the issue has been covered a while back but has the club sorted the previous issues with lukkaku out i only asked has he's come out with a statement saying he has unfinished business with us could be taken a few ways i guess but thought i'd ask if theirs been any change?

also are united interested in griezman as well now seems to be getting harder and harder to see the club managing to secure his services.

thanks for your time mate.

{Ed002's Note - Bayern Munich have watched Everton's Romelu Lukaku on several occasions this season and Real Madrid see him as a possible replacement for Benzema - if they are able to sell him. Manchester United has shown no interest nor declared any interest in Lukaku at this time.If the club are to look to a centre forward at some point he may well be one option the club look to in the future - but for now, nothing. PSG have had scouts watch Lukaku on more than one occasion and with Ibrahimovic leaving and Cavani very probably leaving as well they are working with some "agents" to bring in a couple of very high end players - and Lukaku is now an option for them with the PSG head coach watching him play very recently. There is now a dialog open with Juventus regarding Lukaku and they should be considered the fourth player in this matter. Dortmund interest is dependent on (a) Aubameyang leaving, which he will, and (b) the cost being affordable for them, which I doubt it will be. For now, not a player in this saga. As for Chelsea, there are no loopholes or secret clauses in his contract that Chelsea can use to buy him cheaply nor are there any "buy back" or other clauses that benefit them in any way. There is still support for him from both his orginal player liaison chap who fought hard, albeit unsuccessfully, for months for Chelsea to give him a second chance after the original incident and from an ex-player who Lukaku has spoken to. However, there were two people at the club who were particularly offended and they would both need to agree to sanction a deal before Chelsea would make any offer.

Atletico has no intention of selling Griezmann unless a very significant fee is offered. Whilst Griezmann has said on a number of occasions that he has no plans to leave Spain anytime soon, he has said he would be interested in a move to Chelsea if the opportunity arose in the future. PSG and perhaps Bayern Munich would also be very interested if he became available. PSG, subject to a managerial issue that is brewing being resolved, will not be in a position to do any sort of deal unless some very adventurous other plans they have fall through, but they are desperate for a high-end French player and he might move to the fore as a target. Bayern Munich look to have found their desired player elsewhere and I would think can likely be ruled out. Chelsea are still pushing for a deal for Griezmann and discussions have continued with a third party representing Chelsea in these discussions – and Chelsea are now continuing talks to push for a solution. I would still not rule out PSG getting themselves in to a situation where an offer is viable, but it is dependent on perhaps two other matters.}
