There is a rumour that Chelsea will go back for Luka Modric in jan.is that true?

Modric!! We need to take a long hard look at ourselves and get rid of the dead wood and then bring in quality! Dead wood being, Hilario, Turnball, Bosingwa, Ferreira, Mikel, Kalou, Malouda, Drogba! We need to get back in the market and sign quality....Torres needs support.... dont care what people say he is world class. Potential signings should be

Loads of rumours on Jovetic and Doumbia joning chelsea. And CEO of lille addressed the blues as Hazards next destination. Also Giovinco's form seems to attract lots of interest and his agent said " Chelsea have always admired Giovinco but their is no deal offered till now ".

Are Chelsea really interested in any of these players ? {Ed002's Note - Jovetic has signed a five year deal at Fiorentina. A move in January is most unlikely. There has been an enquiry from Newcastle about Doumbia and it is likely if there is another team who have enquired they will be from North London. Chelsea and no doubt others have had scouts at games but that is some way from making any enquiries for the player. Doumbia does a good job of talking himself up and CSKA will likely want £25M or so for the player. I think you may have misunderstood about Hazard. It was a response to a question posed to Lille academy coach Jean-Michel Vandamme where he explained that Chelsea have shown the more interest in Hazard than other English clubs. Whilst Chelsea have maintained a long-term interest, one particularly influential party at the club sees the player as having an attitude problem and he would need convincing before a firm bid were made. I don't know of any interest in Giovinco but am aware that his agent has spent a lot of time in hotel bars talking up interest from Chelsea - we will have to see.}

ED002 i dont know if you have seen Hazard's latest interview,He has said he would not want to join PSG as he wants a challenge abroad,I think only Madrid,City,Chelsea will be the main front runners in signing the player,Who will have the final say if a bid may be made for Hazard? as you say there is 1 member from Chelsea that thinks the boy has a attitude? {Ed002's Note - The situation with Hazard involves clubs beyond those you have mentioned and I don't know that Manchester City would be involved at all. As I have said, I would not be surprised to see Manchester United declare an interest and there is much interest from Inter already. Any decision to make a formal offer will be a joint decision.}
