Not sure if this is a true but a mate tells me some bloke called Jean Michael Seri is of interest to us!
He also said the bloke in question has an ailment were he struggles with the cold.
He sounds perfect for us!

Bakayoko has had a shocker of a first season but I live in hope Magic.
It would be typical of our current recruitment policy if we signed a player who struggles to play in the cold.
If itās true, you couldnāt make it up!

wev become absoloutely laughable when it comes to transfers these days that's for sure. who ever sanctioned dribkwater an bakayoko should be shot. about 70 million for both should of brought a quality player lile pjanic for that money instead of 2 lumps.

Fact or fiction I have no idea but one of the papers is apparently reporting that Abramovich is prepared to invest in new players but nine current players are to be offered for sale; Luiz, Drinkwater, Pedro, Batshuayi, Zouma, Kenedy, Van Ginkel and Piazon and probably Hazard. Any thoughts if true?

Just a typical rag comment in my opinion C1955.
If you chuck enough darts some will hit the target.

Similar generation TomB. What would your reaction be if true? If we sold them for the suggested amounts then I would not be unhappy if RA topped it up and we bought wisely as the team needs a real freshen up.

Our is owned by a man I treat, for obvious reasons, with virtual reverence.
So whatever he does, Iām sorry to say, Iām going to be pretty subservient.
I have already renewed my OAP season ticket.
Under the ownership of RA I think our ticket prices have only gone up once. Which is remarkable.
So, he can sell whoever he likes and buy whoever he wants, Iām just another sucker supporter that so many clubs rely upon but few pay any heed too.
Sorry C1955 for being such a miserable old twat but Iām not having a good year!

savic-milikovic?
leon bailey?
bryan cristante?
players linked to us.
who do u think are realistic targets now that we have fallen behind players pecking order of clubs with the Manchester clubs now more powerful dan ever an liverpool flying high.
would someone like zaha be more realistic.
will courtois an hazard be sold?
whats your thoughts fellow fans
as im sure we all hope we wrap up our main buisness before the bidding wars after a world cup may start.

Aderwieland and martial both realistic as we can offer more game time and higher wages and both imo great targets, Bailey realistic, chelsea fan and been watching for a while I think, savic I have read there will be bidding war and Chelsea donāt do bidding wars, and I donāt know anything of Atlanta midfielder, a good window for me would be A fresh attacking manager
Icardi bailey alderweiland martial savic Telles
And cesc pedro Moses drinkwater ( bakyoko maybe depending if to raise funds or he wants out ) huge overhaul, properly hugely unrealistic but my thoughts.

Chelsea will have to get into bidding battles, no major club is going to have a free run and based on last year anyone thinking they can pull a few rabbits out of the hat unseen better think again.
Like TomB I would like Conte to stay BUT the man must have a Plan B if A is not working and he currently seems short in that area.
The question regarding Courtois and Hazard is, do we care if they leave? I never felt Courtois wanted to come back and he is good but not the best. Hazard for a so called superstar does go missing far too often for my liking so if sold and the funds were re-cycled it might be a good move. I donāt think, unless they wanted to leave, there is any chance of Pedro or Moses being let go although Fabregas has to be moved on, Drinkwater is a certainty, Bayakoko I donāt even think is a footballer but I they will retain him and if Barcelona come calling I think Alonso will want to leave and we will allow him to.
Aderwieland is a very tidy player but we cannot go down the route of buying injured or injury prone players so I would not take the chance. Martial is useful on his day but he is not enough of a team player and would be over priced. Milinkovic-Savic would suit the EPL and would be an asset. Bailey would give us pace and would not cost a fortune. Koulibaly would also fit nicely but would cost. If we want to keep Morata then I would go for Isco or even ātryāfor Griezmann.
The biggest key is the manager. Conte decides to go or gets sacked then the new man must be in situ as soon as the season ends as the off season is very congested this year and we need to hit the round running with whoever we are after.

I havenāt got a scooby about the majority of players mentioned on this site.
Itās not that Iām disinterested, I just know that the majority of the press just have wild guesses about who we might sign or just (historically) copy whatever the Edās say.
This year is even more difficult as we donāt know how we stand with next seasons manager.
The worst example of the press reporting about Chelsea was in the Expess.
Under a banner headline branded as an exclusive, they categorically said that Conte would be sacked if we got beat by Watford. We lost and Conte is still our manager but not single word resembling an apology or explanation.
Iām totally horizontal about any signings. We are just supporters and like all supporters we want success at virtually any price but thatās not how our club currently operates.
On a different tack shouldnāt all fans be complaining about the price of tickets for the semi and final of the FA cup? They are totally outrageous.

icardi would be well out of our price range . i don't think wel sell bakayoko just yet mate but fab moses an drinkwater possibly an pedro would be the main 1 id sell he's average enough id prefer zaha to have in team dan him. id expect 1 more loan for baker rlc and tammy . van ginkel d 1 main lad who could challenge depending wether conte or new manager wants him. don't no if levy would sell toby 2 us. wat about de vrij an can free signings no brainer signing both.

good post C1955, i agree koulibaly would be a massive signing but we tried for him 2 seasons ago an napoli blew us out of the water a few times after apparently accepting 1 bid kept coming back an increasing it so i don't imagine wed sign anyone off them. insigne could be a signing and a half or as mentioned icardi but are they realistic targets? certaintly if u asked me 2 move on 3 players an bring 3 plus 1 new addition i would say van ginkel milinkovic bailey and icardi/ insigne if possible or as mentioned koulibaly. i think emerson looks a tasty player an im delighted he's getting a run . rudiger has impressed me some wat this season aswell an he looks a real beast. what do we do with zouma he's another 1 u wonder is he good but just not top 4 or 5 team good? same as rlc i don't see his work rate as been good enough for a top team . musonda can't get a look in at celtic so god knows what will happen him. baker pasalic? are they good enough who knows? i haven't heard of either setting moskow of efl alight. sane can be said of boga and plenty of others out on loan. people rave about tammy but what has he got all season 5 pl goals? since when does that make him good enough for chelsea? he needs another season to prove his worth at swansea or someone else for me the injury he got pegged him back a bit same as rlc.

i also agree about both courtois an hazard. if hazard is off to madrid we should surely push for bale coming in the opposite direction with cash possibly. we'd be mad to sell hazard an watch bale head off to Old Trafford or spurs.
