Chelsea will submit a bid for Havertz.

Lampard believes Kai is a player who will help his side challenge next season. Havertz is very keen and #CFC have followed a similar approach to this as with the Werner deal.

Lampard and Rüdiger have been in contact.

Matt Law did say Chelsea are poised to make a bid. Not sure when that will be though. There are rumours that one has been made but I would say they are premature.

However, I don't think its a surprise to any of us that Havertz is keen to join us.

Obinna i could be wrong but I remember Ed saying we don’t have any interest in SMS, I think we are focused on Havertz Ed has said we have been interested in him for a long while now.

As good as SMS is I think if we don’t get Havertz we are better off sticking with what we have. Havertz for me is the kind of player you don’t miss out on if the opportunity presents itself.

I agree Shak, if indeed he is keen to join us we should definitely do what we can to tie this up. This summer transfers can set us up for the foreseeable future .

Ed has said we were talking to Bayer about the the price, if we do put it an official bid then surely its because we’ve come to an agreement, hopefully havertz is keen, ed Has there been any contact regarding left back leaving? So much taking chillwell etc but I’m sure it was we will sign a left back if one leaves,

Maybe Chelsea could be poised to make a bid. But Matt Law didn’t write or tweet anything like that. It was Simon Phillips that tweeted it and tagged Matt Law. Matt Law eventually asked him his name was tagged to the tweet. You can recheck just to be sure- you will find out that there’s no article or tweet of sort from Matt Law.

Agree with the sentiment that while SMS is a very quality player, he isn’t what we need. We have Kante and Kovacic to man deeper midfield positions and I’m not sure that SMS is at his best in an advanced role. Also keep in mind the price would be up there and he isn’t necessarily young at this point.

I very much doubt the SMS rumours are true.

However, its well documented that Chelsea want Havertz. Most of the stories that he wants Chelsea, and players of Chelsea and a former player have been in touch with him are probably true.


I think its a matter of when rather than if. That's my opinion anyway.

Willian has apparently agreed to Move to Arsenal at the end of the year. He wants to stay in London and they have given him a path.

Matt Law has now said we will be progressing after the German Final.

His team mate has just said:
