I think it would've been clever to bring in Rugani since he knows Sarri's system and could help with the other CB's transition to the new style of football. However i'm not that upset about possibly losing out imo especially since they're asking for stupid money for him. In Midfield i think we're good if RLC and Barkley are fighting for that 3rd CM spot. Maybe we need cover for Kante (Vecino? ) but that's all.

Attack is the main issue. Looks like Willian may be off soon despite him saying he's happy here which doesn't mean anything nowadays. I reckon Morata will stay as no clubs in Italy will pay the fee unless it ends up being a loan. I know there's a great player in him and if he stays i hope he can change his mentality.

From what's been said on these rumour sites and what's been going around in general, I'd be surprised to see Pulisic and Bailey move this summer. BUT. i would be stunned if Martial was to stay at United after everything and we seem to be the most obvious choice to get him since he wants to stay in the Prem and also wants a ST role. Add the fact Mourinho really wants Willian and a move there may happen, surely us getting Martial seems like a real possibility?

I know United don't want to sell Martial to a rival, but if it's what he wants and we have a player to offer in return + cash, you'd think they'd seriously consider it. Then maybe target a Zaha for the RW spot and give them Drinkwater and Musonda for him? . Reading this may seem silly, FIFA career mode silly, but with what's happened this window, maybe it could happen. We've been heavily linked with both and i think both of those could be solutions to making them happen.

Realistically, i reckon Willian will move to United, Martial will stay for at least another season, and we'll use the money we got from Willian to get a Zaha or Pulisic. Bailey i couldn't see because of their asking price. Would like to see your guy's opinions on this since it does seem Willian is off despite his recent comments.

Think Willian will be off to United and I'm not too bothered by it. I'd be glad to see Zaha or Pulisic join but Bailey is the dream. Martial would also be welcome but not sure we need him to play as a sub striker/ not sure he's good enough to start ST for us and he's shown he doesn't want to play on the RW. We certainly don't need a LW with Hazard likely to stay.

I don’t think Zaha is good enough. And certainly not worth what they’d ask for him.

What about getting Bernard in place of Willian?
