I'm told Chelsea are very confident that an agreement will be reached with Leicester for Chilwell.
The KH deal is being pushed very hard in particular by Roman.
We can never be certain these deals will happen but these certainly are exciting times!

I think both transfers will drag on until both the German and English domestic seasons are over. Let's hope both Leicester and Leverkusen Leverkusen reasonable in negotiations.
I would be ecstatic should we sign both players but it will be extremely difficult.
I could see why RA is probably keen on KH, let's be honest he does seem to have all the potential in the world.

Grimaldo i think was just twitter talk. Feels like it's between Chilwell, Tagliafico and Telles. Sure more names may pop up but those three seem to be the genuine targets. Personally would go for Tagliafico since i feel he's the best defensively of the three.

I personally would go for Chilwell. He offers both defence and offence.
Whereas Tagliafico could be similiar to Azpi being defensively sound, however offensively weak.

One thing that I don't believe has been acknowledged in regards to the Werner signing is the stylistic differences between him and our other options as well as the effect that could have on those around him.
In possession he pretty much constantly plays on the back shoulder of the last defender even to the point of purposefully starting in an offside position before tucking onside prior to making a run behind the defense.
As a result defenses will sit deep to make sure he doesn't get in behind which creates a lot more space for the wingers and forwards around him. He somewhat reminds me of Torres at Liverpool in style. It'll be interesting to watch how lampard chooses to deploy him.

I think we'll often see him playing off, probably to the left of, either Giroud or Abraham. Giroud especially has the ability to come deep and hold a ball up, which should pull a defence out and allow Werner more space in behind.
I look at next seasons attacking options and see Abraham and Giroud as our main striker options, although Werner can play there too. Ziyech, Werner, Hudson-Odoi, Pulisic and, fingers crossed, Havertz I see as forward options who can all play anywhere in and around one of the strikers. There'll be plenty of opportunities for all, and the ability to move those players around will cause defences problems.
