Hey Ed001 is it true we’re monotiring Zidane? Also how do you think of him as a manager?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed001's Note - monitoring him? What would you be monitoring him for? Make sure he brushes with his left hand instead of his right? Or to find out which hand he uses to wipe his arse with?

As a manager he was just lucky to have Ronaldo pull his backside out of the fire when it mattered in the Champions League. Under him Madrid were mostly awful but the players turn up in big games on their own. He was not a good coach and showed nothing to convince he is a good manager either. Even tactically the only thing he did was copy what Rafa Benitez had tried to do but got told he couldn't as it was too defensive!}

agree Ed, no disrespect to Zidane but all he had to do was try and keep eveybody happy and their quality would speak for itself on the pitch. Couldn't count the amount of times Ronaldo bailed Madrid out when they looked clueless and him leaving has really shown their frailties. Only thing Zidane would bring to Chelsea is the small possibility of keeping Hazard a little while longer. Don't think personally there are any available managers out there that could really do a job with this squad. Who do you think could be successful here Ed001 if Sarri was to get the boot? I'd personally like for us to stick with him but if he was to go i reckon we'd go back to appointing a manager like Allegri.

{Ed001's Note - has to be Allegri really. I can't see anyone else out there to be honest, unless Ancelotti was an option, as I know he was well liked by the fans, so would unite them behind him.}

Ancelotti would seem like a nice appointment. Was gutted when he got the sack during his time here, a real classy guy. Don't want to imagine what De Laurentiis would be like if we went after another one of his managers though haha. Allegri for me if Sarri is moved on, i just truly hope Lampard won't be considered. I wouldn't be able to take seeing him suffer the same fate as all the other managers that we've appointed.

. or Mourinho is kicking his heels, offers to step in on a temporary basis and bingo gets the job again. Had a nice rest, must have learned and been told about his bizarre behaviour. Champions again next season!

I will always respect what Jose did for our club but please NO,

If Sarri gets the tin tac, I would love Carlo to come back. The majority of fans love him and the football was good as well.

I would like Ancelotti. Quiet, understated man who commands respect and we played some nice football under him and he was treated badly. However, he does need a Director of Football supporting him, one with an element of clout as the transfer committee we currently use have no football experience and our transfers are leaving a lot to be desired. Of course there would be the serious issue of extricating him from his current position!

This is not going to be a good couple of years for Chelsea Football Club, the expectation of guaranteed Champions League qualification is gone. Whether it's down to bad form or contracts naturally running out, the squad is going to see significant change. Make no mistake about it, this is going to be a tough gig for whoever takes over at Stamford Bridge.

The clubs philosophy simply has to change now. Despite hearing the word transition all too often when new managers have joined, I believe that whoever is in charge of the club from the summer onwards will have the first opportunity to oversee genuine change since Mourinho’s first stint at the club. The clubs philosophy of short term solutions and quick changes needs the change, they need to give someone the time to oversee a long term change at the club. I think they saw this as being Sarri, but his tactical ineptitude has been found out. We talk about Sarri failing to adapt to the situations he finds himself in, it’s now the club that need to adapt to the situation they find themselves in.

Ancelotti would be a good shout, I agree. It's a shame that we never went to Tuchel in the summer, who would have used the academy much more than the previous three managers. If we do get rid of Sarri, would the club have anyone in mind for an interim position?

Well said about Zizou, His record in Europe is phenomenal but there's a lot more to it than tactical nous lol.

I don't think it matters who the head coach is, this squad is really very average and how Conte oversaw a league title with it I will never know.

We are a Top 6 Club not a Top 4 and certainly not a Title Challenger. It's depressing but true so just accept it, it's much easier to deal with.

Sarri is not helping His situation but this is Our level at the moment and no Zizou, Ancelotti or anybody is going to change that without Quality Investment, which I assume is not forthcoming.

All I feel is apathy towards Chelsea at the moment and that is so much worse than anger.

KTBFFH!

I wouldn't mind bringing Conte back. I know it may not be a popular opinion but he's a winner and tactically better than this Wenger, with all due respect, we have now. From the outside it looked to me as if the club reneged on promise to Conte and lead to every other things that happened.
Bring Conte back, support him like Guardiola in the transfers and he will win trophies. I can't guarantee you that with Sarri, after all he never won a thing.

The only time the club are likely to see Conte again is in court.
