Hey Ed, is there any chance of Chelsea signing Bayern Munich midfielder Bastain Schweinsteiger? He's a class midfielder and I've read a few reports suggesting that Chelsea are very keen on getting him and that they prepared to sign a pre- contractual agreement in January to bring him on a free at the end of the season. This is very possible considering we got a previous German powerhouse at the time on a free i.e Micheal Ballack. I do not know to much on how much wages he may demand but considering if we are able to get him a free Mr. Abramovich might be reluctant to pay him little over the current wage cap. Schweinsteiger's current wages are at 3.5mil pounds per season. I know for a fact that one of the editors on this website is not a big fan of Mikel because he does not bring much to team both defensively and offensively and I couldn't agree more and I also agree with the Nigerian coach's out take that Chelsea have destroyed Mikel's true game. Schweinsteiger could easily take that role which would make our midfield very strong. {ed's note - it is me who is not a fan of Mikel, for Chelsea, and I also agree that is as a result of bad coaching and misuse of his talents. Schweinsteiger would be a fantastic signing to take his place, there is also a very good chance of him joining. But it does depend on Mourinho and whether he wants him to join Madrid.}

Hey Ed, is there any chance of Chelsea landing Adam Johnson form City considering he may leave because lack of game time and Chelsea needs a player like him? {ed's note - they probably wouldn't sell him to Chelsea.}
