Sad to see Kevin De Bruyne leave. He was unlucky at Chelsea, in the fact he had to fight for his place with some of the best young midfielders in the world. Still really rate the guy, hopefully he proves his worth at Wolfsburg.

Good luck Kevin.

Couldn't agree more. Don't think it will come back to bite us, as we have enough talent in that department. But I do think he will go on to be a top qaulity player in a couple of years. Good luck to him

I agree, when you have a midfield that Juan Mata struggles to get into you know there's a lot of talent. He's a cracking player, shame we didn't get to see more of him, good luck Kev!

To be honest I think Mourinho was a little unfair on him. I think he'll go on to be a great player, every time I see him for Belgium he is excellent. He started our first match against Hull and was given MOM. The next game he was dropped altogether! Imagine what that must do to your confidence. He hasn't performed that well when given chances since, however he should never have been dropped in the first place. It's right for the club though as it's pretty much funded the Matic deal and allowed us to strengthen where we really needed a player! I'm just gutted though as I think De Bruyne will go on to be a star!

It was quite obvious that KDB is behind of all other 5 attacking players to feature more freequently. Not many attacking midfielders would break into our first team squad in the world, therefor it's fair to Kevin to find himself a team where he can be The Guy.

I'm pretty sure Mata will follow at some stage, perhaps summer. He's got his best years of a career right in front of him, but isn't better than any of the Hazard, Oscar and Willian to make it into the starting line-up. Willian could be for debate, but let's be frank - what Willian others on the wing in terms of pace, dribbling and defence - Mata is nowhere a match. Sadly for Mata - Oscar is a better all around footballer than he is and will only get better with time.

We have Piazon showing great promise in Holland, he'll probably be ready to feature for Chelsea in a year or two. He's a cracking player, so I wouldn't be surprised in Mata left and Piazon gotten promoted o the first team.

Hey ed mate, just wondering

Was joes mourinho ever interested in a move to manage Manchester United to replace fergie? Or was he always going to come back to chelsea?

Cheers

ED02: Do you see us bidding for Kurt Zouma this transfer window?

Thank you much

{Ed002's Note - Talks have been held but any move before the summer is unlikely.}

Hey Ed, sorry to bother you with this. Do Chelsea still maintain an interest in Ricardo Rodriguez? Or is Shaw the clear preferred choice as future lb?
Thanks as always for any insights

{Ed018's Note - Rodriguez was looked at but it never went any further than that. Chelsea had an offer rejected for Shaw and I'd expect them to eventually make another offer, although a move in January looks unlikely}

Seems reasonable enough, thank you very much for that.
Have a fantastic day
