Ed002 its interesting when Mourinho says he will try to help English football and wants to build another core of English players at the club do you know any specific English players he has maybe told the club to monitor? {Ed002's Note - There is an interest in Shaw still.}
Barkley and Shaw are both players who are in area's of need for next year and who both have potential.
Fingers crossed
Loftus Cheek and Isiah Brown could and should be English stars of the future. Hopefully they won't lack personality and desire and balls like McEachran does.
Would love our English core to be:
Shaw
Chalobah
Baker
Loftus-cheek
Baker
Barlkley
Brown
All of these have the potential to be stars! 5 already play for us. let's hope at least 4 of them our in starting 11 in 5 years time!

I'd be extremely extremely disappointed if we ended up buying another no.10 in Barkley, even though he is talented and English. If JEREMY BOGA isn't an established first team regular in 5-6 years in that no.10 position, we may aswell close down the academy.
