Ok, singing David Luiz to aid Chelsea's massive current defensive crisis won't be bad at all. He is probably the best young center back in the world and fits all the criteria for a club like Chelsea. His price tag is justifiable at 25mil but I think Chelsea can work out a deal which will benefit both parties. I say Paulo Ferrerira plus 22mil and probably he's not one of players who will demand much wages considering Chelsea want to cut their wage bill. What's your thoughts Ed?

Gary Cahill to Chelsea in January.Bolton are looking to pay of some of their rising debt and Chelsea are in a defensive crisis. Cahill might come around for 15mil although Chelsea are facing stiff competition in signing the talented England center back from Arsenal and Inter Milan. What's your thoughts Editor? {ed's note - I am unconvinced on him as a player, he is a hoofer, even when there are options to play a pass he will look to hoof it upfield. Doesn't seem like Ancelloti's type of player to me.}

Ed, is there any truth in that David Luiz to Chelsea for 25mil rumour? {ed's note - I am not entirely convinced about it, the link has been around for a while, Scolari wanted him and had him watched. I think it is more a case of newspapers seeing defensive injuries so linking Chelsea with defenders. Having said that, you have had him watched in the past and it wouldn't take much to dig out the scout's files on him, but I doubt it myself.}
