Hey Ed, Is it fair to say that Havertz will be moving this summer and it will be either to Chelsea or Bayern.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed002's Note - Probably.}

Thanks for your prompt reply Ed, is it to much to ask where you think he'll end up?

{Ed002's Note - I really don’t want to make predictions that I will get held to.}

no problem, have a good evening.

I get the feeling that if Bayern stump up the money that Havertz will prefer to make the move there rather than to us. As a young German he’ll have ambitions of winning the German league and cup and with Bayern you’re almost guaranteed that with a strong chance of being a European champion too.

As much as I’d love him join us I think we should be hopeful rather than expectant. Even if he doesn’t join the club has made 2 outstanding signings (as long as Werner signs) and I’m sure there will be more. Exciting times ahead for our club.

I think it's time to forget Havertz lads. As much as I would love him.

Anyway, we would be better off by signing Benrahma and a top-class CB with the Havertz money.

It's a continuous trend in Germany that rival clubs sell their best players to Bayern Munich who never overpay for them. This probably explains why they have won the league 8 times in a row.

I'm sure Chelsea could do something here, financially I would imagine we are in a very strong position and for Havertz playing in the Premier League would be the ultimate test as it is the best league in the world and he could showcase his skills.

I wouldn't lose hope on KH signing for us. I personally can't see Bayern stamping out for both Sane and KH in the same window. I'd rather assume they sign Sane.

If the opportunity presents itself then we should look to sign Havertz this summer because I'm afraid next summer would be difficult.

Never doubt Ed002.things are never black and white. The Daily Mail are reporting that BM are focussing on Leroy Sane!

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - Unfortunately it would not discount them doing something if they wanted to.}

17 Jun 2020 14:39:25
Why would any one think we can sign Ziyech, Werner and Havertz but find it hard to believe Bayern can sign Sane and Havertz. His transfer + that of Sancho will most likely run through the summer.

I feel it’s between us and Bayern and the team that wants him that bit more would make something happen, but I’m not aiming for much here so I don’t get too disappointed but boy would signing him be a statement especially against the mighty Bayern.

german paper BILD and journalist close to bayern christian falk saying that they won't meet asking price and will only be interested if they want to talk about a move in 2021.

{Ed002's Note - I have explained the situation already. Perhaps from now on it is best we stick with you and Twitter.}

Ed hope you don’t mind me posting this on here just info for the lads.

On the united page Ed states that « as it stands there is a chance Havertz goes to Bayern ».
Obviously as we know things change in the transfer market, Just don’t think we should get ahead of ourselves with Havertz, I for one would have loved him but Bayern do have a great pull on German players so I think we shouldn’t expect much on this one.

Plus we have already signed two very good players.

Dont see how they can afford sane and havertz plus they want a rb aswell.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - So what issue with their finances you see as an issue for them?}

16 Jun 2020 23:19:02
Sorry ed002 i don't get the question?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - You are commenting on the finances of Bayern Munich - I want to understand your point.}

16 Jun 2020 23:25:05
Ed002 just from reports and owners words that they don't want to spend huge money during these times.

{Ed002's Note - Their “owners” - that is a wow.}

16 Jun 2020 23:58:52
Ed sorry i meant heinz rummenigge, he said, so do you think they are willing to pay the €100m asking price?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - Nothing has changed. I have explained the situation that Chelsea are looking at a more creative solution if they can.}

17 Jun 2020 00:39:53
I see i guess you still can't say what creative solution?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - Not worth the grief.}

Thanks ed002 for explaining the situation.

For me the transfer market now is pushed to the back burner . so happy the pl is back.

Let the Chelsea management work this KH deal while we watch our way to consolidate the 4th spot.

with the transfer market running simultaneously with league games . all this speculation would surely impact the players . Unfortunate.

Good Morning Ed002. Do Bayer Leverkusen have any Chelsea players in mind that they may consider including in any potential deal?

Ed002; Good morning, in the La Liga page, you said something like, ‘They may be able to ease the immediate strain with the help of Chelsea’- when you talked about Thomas Partey . What did you mean? Are you saying Chelsea will be interested in buying Thomas Partey if Athletico Madrid is willing or interested in selling the player to Chelsea?
Personally, he’s a player I would very much want to see in the Chelsea midfield- solid midfielder.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed002's Note - No, Chelsea has no interest in Partey.}

16 Jun 2020 11:52:00
I would imagine it’s to do with Morata, and us re-structuring the deal in a way that’ll ease Atletico’s financial issues.

ED002, in recent news . Timo Werner won't be in RBLs champions League squad.

My question is . Should this information be leaked to the press so easily . aren't these deals supposed to happen behind closed doors and information is kept close to the chest
How is it that this gets out and does this have any ramifications on the deal itself . In some cases maybe break the deal?

Just want to understand this better as I think it's why sometimes you also keep info and not tell all . Not that I'm complaining, I trust you completely.

Cheers.

{Ed002's Note - As I explained it was not a medical that needed to be resolved in respect it was two other matters, one of which was what happens in August with the Champions League. I have no idea what the press have said about this. RBL are quite open about matters dealing with outgoing players, perhaps not to this level of detail normally.}
