Would be very happy to have Jovic and Higuain as our ST options next season. Need quality depth to be competitive in every competition. Hopefully us getting Champions league football next season isn't crucial for us getting him since he's still very young.

Jovic I think we should go for. Like Piatek but he’s only just joined. If there’s one player we need to take from Milan it’s Romagnoli. He’s brilliant, a leader and perfect for the LCB role.

{Ed001's Note - because RBL are not interested in selling him. As far as I am aware, there are no plans to sign a new CB for the first team, you have a lot to choose from already. There are a few like De Ligt that are being monitored, but I don't believe it is seen as a need right now. You have Christensen and Ampadu who can't even get in the team, as well as Zouma and others out on loan.}

Yeah but luiz dould leave, christensen aswell, zouma is not that good anymore and imo we need a strong leader type cb.

Ed if we did want de ligt woukdnt raiola be an issue for us as he don't like us and chelsea don't like to deal with him.

Ed001, I know you mentioned that the club and supporters may not be on the same wavelength in terms of opinions. but come on. It’s clear to anyone with a set of eyes that it’s a position that needs strengthening.
- David Luiz is like the British weather. Temperamental, and you have no idea what Luiz will turn up for a game. He’s as inconsistent as they come and if it weren’t for Sarri, he’d have been long gone by now.
- Andreas Christensen. Great footballer. and by that, I don’t mean defender. He has great ability with the ball at his feet, but when it comes to defending, we may as well be sticking Pascal Cygan in the back. He also cannot handle pressure very well. The back half of last season showed that rather clearly.
- Gary Cahill is a goner. Everyone and their dog is aware of that.
- Kurt Zouma. Is bigger than a truck and as mobile as one, as well. Seems to pick up injuries quite regularly as well.
- All that’s left is Antonio Rudiger and Ethan Ampadu. Rudiger can’t do it all by himself and Ampadu ‘is just a kid’ and has shown far more potential in the middle of the park in the Welsh jersey than in the back four.
If the board seriously think that the above are good enough options for the centre half position, questions need to be asked.
