How about this as a rumour.
We are talking to Leicester about a player but it's not Chilwell it's Kasper and the left back we are signing is the lad we saw tonight.
About as good as the BS we get from the papers.

Considering all the noise surrounding Reguilon i was expecting to see the Spanish Ashley Cole, saw more of a smaller and quicker Marcos Alonso instead. Looks good going forward but defensively he didn't look great at all. Not to mention his height wouldn't help our problems with set pieces at all. Telles isn't much better defensively but would help with set pieces at least, him or Chilwell and i'm happy. Kasper's a good keeper but yeah don't know where that's come from, sure we'll see many more keepers getting linked to us. Doubt we'll see any movement with goalkeepers until we know what's happening with Kepa anyway. Which will take a while i reckon.

I am making this rumour up!
Although, I did mention in a post a few days ago that I have a feeling we might go for a short term solution in goal. If It was Kasper I would be happy.

Because it’s totally beyond the realms of possibility that he could have picked a player at random. Tom, you need to get on it, these sites are copying you, maybe you can sue?

More in the realms of possibility that he has read that exact rumour somewhere and forgot and his subconscious is playing tricks on him.

I haven’t seen it on any site that I look at. I just thought it was as bonkers as some of the newspaper headlines.
Anyway, I think I would be happy with it if it ever come off.

Just for the record, I think we will sign Chilwell. I’m more than happy with that signing and I also don’t care if the fee is a record for a FB.

It was in the Leicester Mercury and an article in the mirror that Leicester were on lookout for a new keeper as Chelsea and United circle around Schmeichel. Thankyou very much.

Guys (and girls), whilst i love the attacking style that we are showing when we get to the business end of the season it evidentiality comes back to goals conceded, and there in lies the problem. Tammy, heaps of chances, very few converted, TBH not ready, will he ever be? Well actually we at Chelsea can't wait to find out, goals now, not maybe, so really not at the level we require . He does't do it for me, another young boy being sold the dream, on exuberant wages P/ W and resting on his laurel's, I'm waiting for the young man who wants to achieve, work for it a bit, keep striving, and be an absolute pro!

The Schmeichel to United (which I've seen on various sites over the past few days) seems ridiculous as they have de Gea / Romero and Henderson demanding game time; if there's any truth in this, it can only be because Henderson is joining us (fingers tightly crossed) .
And Reguilon - I agree with other posters, brilliant going forward but defensively questionable - don't we already have 2 like that?! And I would also question Chilwell's defensive qualities.
And talking of United, if Solskjaer sees Williams as the future, I would like us to go for Chelsea supporter Luke Shaw who's amazingly still only 25.
