Ed, I have a question but it's not about chelsea maybe u can help - have seen some wigan athletic team among the europa league teams, please are they wigan athletic of England, if yes then I thought they were relegated so how come they are in the europa league competition.

Hey Ed002 just wondering if we have any stake in Lazar Markovic I remember his previous coach saying Markovic will go to Benfica for 2 years before joining up with Chelsea but this was never officially announced buy us. could you shed any light on it?

was wondering if you could shed light on mourinhos comment that he enquired for a young english player but found that the asking price was way too high {Ed002's Note - I don't know what his comment was but Chelsea has enquired after Ross Barkley again.}
In your opinion could he be a possibility next summer Ed {Ed002's Note - Next summer is a long way off still, but the club are interested.}

Thanks for replying Ed. I suppose it will depend on numerous factors including I assume and "english player" inflated price. Think he would be a great addition for the future. {Ed002's Note - We'll see.}

Ed 002 I have followed your various comments about the building of a squad rather than looking at individual players.
In this connection can you explain why we have invested so much money on some of the best attacking midfield players in the World and yet we don't have one striker in the squad who is of a similar quality and age?
I realise this is a very subjective issue but I wondered what you thought of the balance of the spending on the squad? {Ed002's Note - The two are unrelated. However, Chelsea has put considerable efforts in to bringing in strikers over the past two summers and the efforts have been unsuccessful. Efforts will continue.}
Do you know why we failed to sign either Cavani or Falcao in the summer Ed002?
I had presumed it was either the price or wages or both which could have been addressed by spending less on an area of the pitch where we already have options. {Ed002's Note - They decided to go elsewhere.}
But was that due to us not matching the Transfer fee and wages on offer from PSG & Monaco or something less obvious?
I read somewhere that the Falcao deal was complicated by his ownership for example. {Ed002's Note - Wages we don't discuss. There was no ownership deal with Falcao. Assume it to be something less obvious by your definition.}
Hob308 their aren't the abundance of world class young strikers like there are attacking midfielders.
El Shaarawy and maybe Ballotelli are in that mox of under 23 and proven international/champions league strikers. I wouldn't want Ballotelli as he's a walking red card. Rodrigo maybe but he hasn't scored a great goal to game ratio.
