Do chelsea have any plans to sign two CMF such as sneijder and modric , , or we will be signing only one if we sign any ??? and thnx in advance {Ed002's Note - There has been a primary target in Pastore for more than a year. It seems unlikely that two would be signed, particularly after the arrival of Ramires last year.}

I have just seen an article that says Ron Gourlay has stated Didier Drogba is going nowhere... WHY???!!!
He is 33 and a massive character in the dressing room!!!
We will never see the best of Torres while he thinks he is in Drogbas shadow!!!
Argh!!!!!!!

A few players I believe Chelsea should sign:
Arjen robben, I believe owes Chelsea, we took a chance on him as a youngster and as soon as Madrid showed a intrest he wanted out.maybe Alex(as he wants more first team action)plus 15m.
Honda from CSKA very creative player who would raise Chelsea as a club in Asia.
Juan mata, maybe would make Torres feel more at home and is also a great player.
Sneijder would add experience and quality in CAM
Aguero quality player could also play behind Torres
Falcao who has been in great form and is also young
Pastore, but not for the price quoted 45m
Hughes or rikard, Zola as no 2 with hiddink upstairs

Chelsea are going to sign mata after another great preformance u21 game!Valencia want 30 million euros and they need the money! He can play as am LW and a CM! Valencia have said chelsea can have him for that price. Liverpool will sign carzola and not mata as they have enough CM, so chelsea are the only ones left with money and need for creativity!

Chelsea have opted not to sign Neymar and are pursuing a cheaper move for Spanish U21 star Adrian. One of Modric or Pastore will likely sign, as will Begovic and Van Der Wiel. {Ed002's Note - Ah, MOTD Fever.}

Chelsea Rumours

Ed at present we seem to be making very little progress regards signings do you expect things to drag on or will things pick up? {Ed002's Note - Things will pick up. You know the transfer window is not even open yet.}

the english one is so why arent we making moves on players in england, why are we only wanting foreigners its not good at all we need some good young english lads brought in

ED002 do you really think that playing in the World club championships will be such a big deal for Neymar to play in as he will if he joins Chelsea be playing champions league football and can showcase his talents on that stage but i understand the player would want to play in the final....If they was to lose i think a deal would be easier to strike or maybe he will want to stay and win it {Ed002's Note - As I have explained, the issue has been raised: "One final complication is that there is a very good chance that a request will be made to say if a move is agreed the player will not join Chelsea until January 2012. This is all wrapped up with the Copa Libertadores and subsequent World Club Championship. It is most unlikely that Chelsea would agree to such a provision."}

Given what you know Ed what would you regard as the most likely signings this summer including the management team?
The positions I think need filling teamwise are RB a Creative midfield player plus a pacy winger as an absolute minimum. {Ed002's Note - As I have said before my making guesses is not going to help. As for manager, I still expect Hiddink to arrive.}

VDW, Gorcouff, Marin!

Neymar is not moving to chelsea I found out on goal.com his agent wants him to play at real madrid and yes they have also put in offers the agent is demanding the high pay of 41M for the player the agent claims that Madrid are the best in the world. Lets be honest the best team is barca everyone knows that. and they attract alot of talent. I dont know who chelsea will sign but rimour has it chelsea are doing some kind of swap. the swap I hear is drogba for modric. I dont if thats true but that is a possability as drogba is old and modric is only 27 or younger. can someone shed some light on this ty

ed, i just wanted to ask why have chelsea not even attempted to sign wesley sneijder?, in my opinion he is the player that chelsea above all teams need rather than an overpriced pastore, aswell as sneijder being the perfect foil for torres to get going again.thanks. {Ed002's Note - Chelsea have enquired about Sneijder. THe International Transfer window does not even open for another two weeks. Don't start to panic just yet.}

Should Santos win tonight they qualify for the world club championships, they then get the chance to claim the much wanted scalp of Barcelona; if this is the case neither Neymar or Ganso will leave till next summer! Aguero to Juventus looks likely now as does Sanchez to Barcelona, although Inter have stated today that Leonardo is quitting and they plan talks with the Chile manager; which may push Sanchez in their favour! Ashley Young has signed for United!

The summer is young and Chelsea are running out of options! If I was them I would be making a massive push for Tevez......Now!!! {Ed002's Note - Your assertion about Neymar is incorrect and has already been a matter for discussion with Chelsea.}

Believable1 Unbelievable5

Ed, do you think it is likely Abramovich will pay the £40 million for Neymar or will he look elsewhere?
Also, are we likely to sign Pastore? {Ed002's Note - It is not a simple case of the money, as I have repeatedly said. Pastore is a possibility.}

Van Nieuwenhuizen maintained today there had been no formal contact between Hiddink - who is also currently in Asia - and the Blues over the vacancy of the managers job. Is this true Ed???

{Ed002's Note - The "formal" contact has been between Chelsea and Turkey.}

Allo' ED, I just wanted to get my point out there, I've seen Chelsea transfer speculation for years, and to me it always seems either to little to late, or we lose out to a lesser club, take the latest news for example, we were adamant about the signings of Neymar, R.Lukaku, Sneijder, Van der Weil, Arda Turan.. Neymar is a brat let's be honest here, yes he's an exceptional player but why would we pay a 19 year old, un-proven striker, wages on the level of our captain, as for Lukaku, personally I think we should do all we can to sign him, Sneijder- it's all hype he's moving no where.. VDW is considering moving to Everton, why would anybody choose them over us, Arda Turan- pointless never going to be the level we need, ed please help us out here;
Romelu Lukaku? Likely to sign?
VDW? Likely to sign?
Next season should we consider this?..
GK-Cech
LB-A.Cole
CB-J.Terry
CB- D.Luiz
RB-Van der Weil
DM-Essien
CM-Lampard
CM-Hamsik
AM-Lucas Piazon
CF-Torres
CF-R.Lukaku
???
1 more thing Ed, Lucas Piazon, is he %100 ours and coming? Thanks. {Ed002's Note - I am not going to comment on teams, by Lucas will join in January.}

ED,

you said Bosingwa, Zhirkov, Anelka and Cork are probably on the outbound list.

still not Kalou and Mikel ??

with Essien on the squad, where is Mikel likely to play ? we still have Mceachren as superb alternative in injuries.

with Torres, Drogba, Sturridge and one new sighning being looked at, where will Kalou probably play ??

this seems even unfamiliar to Kalou to play at new position as we are desperately looking for a CAM, either in the form of Neymar, Pjanic or Pastore.

your thoughts ?? {Ed002's Note - It is not a definitive list - please read what I wrote.}

Hi Ed, on the Liverpool rumours page there dedicated Ed buts a number from 1-10 on how likely a signing will be, could you do it for these players? if not can u give an update if there are any available?
Javier Pastore
Romelu Lukaku
Gregory Van der Weil
Christian Eriksen
Kevin De Bruyne
Cheers! {Ed002's Note - The Liverpool page does not have a "dedicated" editor. I really do not want to start such things here.}

ed are we not looking for cheaper options but who still have talent that could develop or b sold on
e.g instead of
modric - 35m pjanic - 18m {Ed002's Note - Chelsea are not looking to buy to sell on. They are looking for long term rplacements for existing players.}

Ed. How much do you think any potential delay in the club appointing a new coach may hamper transfer negotiations?
And judging by Goulay's comments that the club's search for a coach is progressing well, do you think that key targets would be 'discreetly' made aware of who they would be playing under if they were to make the move? After all I imagine it's of some importance to players to know who the boss will be in making up their minds. {Ed002's Note - It will make no difference at all.}

Believable0 Unbelievable1

15 Jun 2011 13:51:21

ed would we pay 44mill for pastore and do u think the presidents just trying to get the best price and we could prob get him for about 30m {Ed002's Note - It is not simply the case of the money - the player must want to come as well.}

Believable0 Unbelievable1

15 Jun 2011 13:41:43
hey ed, wat r the chances of arda turan joining us?? {Ed002's Note - Arda Turan looks Atletico Madrid bound. Talks have been going on for a while and he will move this summer. Dortmund apparently, remain interested but Villarreal have dropped any interest that they had. Spurs have dipped their toe in the water over the player and I suspect Valencia and Chelsea are keeping a watchful eye on matters. I am surprised that Liverpool have not followed up the interest they previously had in the player.}

Believable0 Unbelievable1

15 Jun 2011 11:54:45
ed why aren't we bidding for sanchez when hes probably the cheapest player we could get out of are targets {Ed002's Note - We know that Chelsea, Manchester City and Inter Milan have made unsuccessful bids, and we know that Manchester United and Barcelona have a declared interest. Juventus had previously been interested but were hoping that (a) Sanchez stayed under the radar until a deal could be struck, and (b) Udinese would look kindly on an arrangement that included some cash and several players either in exchange, on loan or in part-ownership as part of the deal. As an aside Juventus have proposed a similar deal for Javier Pastore. Anyway, there was a January meeting with Chelsea in Monaco and broad agreement was reached over the transfer before Giampaolo Pozzo said that the deal must include a loan of the player back to Udinese. Whilst Barcelona were apparently willing to agree to this until the end of the season, Pozzo proposed that whoever Sanchez moved to should allow him to be loaned back for 18 months – hence the end of any discussions. I expect that Juventus will not come back in to the picture. Although Sanchez has been watched by numerous teams including Roma, there is nothing new other than Manchester City having a bid rejected for the player and Inter entering further discussions about the player - but I am told that no further bid has been made. Manchester City, like Juventus, were knocked back in a bid for Pastore and are likely to aim their cheque book in another direction – this may well be another bid for Sanchez. The advantage they have, in addition to being able to match any transfer fee, is the ability to put together a wage deal far beyond anything the other clubs could afford or would be willing to pay. I suspect that we will see this whole saga drag out through the summer transfer window as Pozzo puts the player on the market, takes him off the market, values him at €100M and so on. Manchester United, Chelsea, Barcelona and Inter will all likely remain interested but could well tire of the expected drawn-out negotiations. Manchester United and Chelsea were both originally wary of the player being not quite as robust as needs be for the EPL. Perhaps Inter will get their man or perhaps Sanchez will respond positively to reported interest from the nice folks at Barcelona or even Real Madrid. There is an unconfirmed report that Manchester United have asked for time to consider a further bid and that bid appears to be imminent. I have speculated that Manchester United may turn their attentions to Eden Hazard instead if a further bid for Sanchez fails. The player has made no secret of his desire to stay in Italy. An enquiry from Anzhi Makhachkala has also been rebuffed at the first hurdle.}

I hear he's after a big wage, well if this is true i say give it him as he is a big player, young, PL proven and very talented. He would bring an awfull lot to our club. In my opinion Chelsea are looking in totally the wrong place for there re-build but thats just my opinion. {Ed002's Note - It could be lack of interest.}
