Tbh I think Butland would be the best option. Having two English keepers with him and Blackman would really help our HG quota.

Would butland want the move though he can't be happy at stoke he hasn't played a game fore ages he's careers just stagnated the same would happen here he's never going take courtois spot I just don't see him wanting it plus i'm pretty sure he had the chance to come here already before he went to stoke.

Hopefully the clubs can agree that he remains there on loan for next season as well, or some type of deal like that. And I hope Thorgan would go along with that.
Apparently he spoke of wanting stability recently, and I really hope Chelsea give him that without selling him. He's a good player already, and in time he can become a very good one.
Maybe his desire to play alongside his brother one day can make him agree to a loan extension.
Please don't leave Thorgan :(

Thanks again Ed002, I get from you're posts that while footballers are "transient employees" there is a desire from the club to have footballers who want to play for the club and build a team, rather than have exceptional talents, however gifted, that think they are the "bee's knees" and that the player comes before the club. If a player doesn't want to be part of the CFC philosophy let him go and get someone who buys into"our" philosophy. As Athletico proved today, a champion team will beat a team of champions everytime, its not all about the money. Eden Hazaard this year has been a revelation, even when our performances have been "below" expectations cause he is now playing for the team. Matic and Fabregas are doing the same(and Dave, god bless him, and Costa) and I'm hoping that this will see "our" club lift multiple silverware this year.
Yes, I get down like any other fan when we drop points or games, but if we, the fans, believe that our guys want it as much as we do then there really isn't a problem, they are only human, they aren't machines and if they give it all for CFC that's all I ask.

Ed I don't want to brag you lol but the Ed on the arsenal page said a representative of Dortmund will be in London today to speak to a club (not arsenal). Just wondering if it is Chelsea I'd imagine it may be over Schurrle or Reus.
