Ed what are the plans with our current Cobham youth? Ruben Loftus-Cheek looks outstanding and likewise Jeremie Boga. Are they going to be blended into the 1st team squad next year? We don't need to extend Lampards contract with RLC, Chalobah and Van Ginkle coming back next year.
Were also going to have around 20 players coming back from loans that we really need to clarify if they have a future with us or not. Development loans for players who aren't in our future plans don't really make sense to me.

But in all seriousness I understand buying talent to develop and sell on for future profit but we need to start making 1st team oppotunities for some of these guys.
Bertrand 24 been at Chelsea for a long time now, played in a Champions League final isn't getting picked instead playing a RB at LB who can't get in the team at his own position. If Bertrand isn't the future then sell him and allow other talent to come through for example.
{Ed002's Note - Whilst much is expected of many of the youth players I would doubt they will be involved with the first team much next year. A number of the loan players will move on next summer, some will stay with the squad and some will get further loans spells. There have been a couple of enquiries about Bertrand and he will be looking for regular first team football - it would not be a surprise to see him move on at some point.}
Thank you for the reply Ed, out of some of those players are there any who that you could identify that will move on in your opinion. Or is it guess work atm.
