Surely there is no way we would consider loaning to buy or any of the players they’re happy to offload in exchange for one of our best and most experience and important players?

Skriniar and Martinez are only two of value / quality, kante is world class be a shame we let him go.

Matt, I wouldn’t worry so much about Kante leaving:
* But I would worry if the club doesn’t get a good price for him cos funds will be needed at the moment to beef up the team.
* I would worry If the club doesn’t bring in a quality defensive midfielder/ central midfielder as his replacement cos let’s face it, if we are bringing in attacking reinforcements, it will consequently restrict Kante’s role to defensive midfield and honestly there are younger players out there that can give him (Kante) a run for his money- playing in that defensive midfield position- (which Chelsea can bring in for a good job price as a defensive midfielder) .
* Besides 29 years being a good age to sell a player, his (Kante’s) stats are reducing and will reduce more as his age goes up (playing in the EPL) ; but he will still be invincible playing in the Spanish or Italian league for the next 5 years.
So, if Chelsea can get a good price for him; have a younger adequate replacement lined up (whom I know will be cheaper), then they have my blessing to sell him. BUT Ngolo Kante is indeed WORLD CLASS.

Not sure I know Inter's squad well enough to understand whether any kind of player trade would be palatable for Chelsea, were Kante to indicate he'd like to go there?

I won’t ask of actual figures ed but the price we’d consider accepting would you in your option say it’s a good price, if we look at the cost of some players recently kante surely has to be over £100m, and what players are inter looking to use in exchanges not just in this instance but in general so we know the caliber of player the offer.

and who are we looking at incase both were to leave.
