I have no idea if this is true but I have just read that Modric has handed in a transfer request. Hope its true but to be honest, I doubt it.
Is this the only way this deal will go through? {Ed018's Note - Tottenham will have to accept the fact that keeping Modric will only hurt the team and we will have to pay the amount they believe is fair. Thats how i see it happening, but yes handing in a transfer request might help speed it up}

Modric hands in a transfer request hopeing a deal can be struck within the next 7 days then move on to another target really hope we push for aguero once more can you see this happening ED108 {Ed018's Note - in a logical world i'd expect Modric to hand in a transfer request when they get back from South Africa and Chelsea to have an offer of 32 million accepted. will it happen. who knows.}

Do you think there is a particular reason why chelsea targets that always seem to be 'close' to signing, then either move to other clubs or extend their own cuerrnt contract. I know there have been bids on tables for various targets, in your opinion why do you thinks these are arnt happening as quick as we would like. How many signings do you anticipating Chelsea sign.

It doesn't look like the club think they need one {Ed018's Note - maybe they dont and i'm not sure they really do. i expect modric to sign, after that i think they need to bring in a wing/forward or two.}

seems logical as alex is leaving and would free up a spot for a foreigner and add to the homegrown {Ed018's Note - there seems to be interest in cahill and it'd be good move}
Edd i think alex is quality and much better than cahil. i think a move for him would be bizzare when we hava ivanavic and alex that can play cb {Ed018's Note - it looks as if alex will be sold, cahill will be a solid replacement, and he is still young}

Am I the only person who feels the return of Scott Parker wouldn't be a bad thing? I know he left us before and couldn't get in the team but he has grown and developed as a player since then. He does shine out in a poor West Ham team and you could say the lack of quality around him makes him look better than he is, however his performances for England recently show he is a top midfielder. English, cheaper than other targets and another leader in the dressing room.
Angel Di Maria, if made available, should be targeted too; although of more concern to me is the right side of the pitch...Ed's, what right wingers (except Neymar and Sanchez) are out there and realistically available? {Ed018's Note - Turan, Mata. Aguero can play on the right}
Jesus navas? Maybe available, or my personal favourite, the return of robben?

We could of given ouselves a bit more of a chance of gettin him for a decent price for us if didn't weigh in with £5m more of an offer straight away. £2m would have been a sufficient initial increase, but now we've put ourselves on the back foot by showing our cards prementurly. {Ed018's Note - tottenham have a price that they are gonna wait for. then they will let him go. its that simple. a 2 million increase would do nothing.}

we will not sign neymar or modrid. boas is looking at di maria as neymar is set to sign for madrid in january. pedro leon of madrid is also a target. chelsea will make one final bid for modric of a fee around £33.5 mil which if this fails they will turn to samir nasri
