Chelsea Rumours
According to Davide Santon's agent, Arsenal, Spurs and Chelsea are all interested and are all possible destinations for his client. He said that all three are interested in the player and that he has lined up meetings with the Prem trio in the coming days. Hopefully Chelsea does move for this player cause he is an exceptional talent and the kind of player Anchelotti admires. His price tag is definitely within Chelsea's reach and prove a great replacement for Ferreira or even Bosingwa. By the way Ed, any truth in this?

{Editor's Note: Much will depend on what happens with Benitez at Inter. Chelsea have shown an interest in the past but Van Der Wiel remains the target if Chelsea do need a new right back.}

Why are you telling us about your life story and who you are staying with? There is no salary cap, if you do watch the sunday supplement he says roman will allow stellar signings to avoid this so called 'cap

So please stop misleading us and i beg u find me a quote of roman saying there is an 80k cap ?

I speak to a chelsea journalist too? there is no salary cap, so please stop misleading chelsea fans with your nonsence and go back to your real page the man utd one?

{Editor's Note: Actually I did not accuse you of being 10 years old and I did speak to a Chelsea supporting journalist. If you are a Chelsea supporter then that is fine, but you will need to stop masquerading as a supporter of another club on another page - ergo, you are misleading at least one group of fans here.}

Ed i share a laptop with my brother in law, well its his laptop even though i hog it, we both use this site, he was the one who showed it to me and i am staying with him and my sister for another week, he will be staying with me next week while we watch the Chelsea game. Sid is a Manc but even he knew about the 80k cap, if you genuinely do not believe it Ed then fair enough but you have to admit that its not just me you have heard this from? All of my Chelsea mates know about it.

{Editor's Note: We should just let it rest then.}

{Editor's Note: I have it from a Chelsea supporting journalist who discussed this matter at last week's game in Marseille and was told that there is no truth in it whatsoever. Additionally, you are not a Chelsea supporter yourself which adds little credibility to your story, and does take itr directly back to your "scaremongering" as mentioned previously.}

Ed i have no intention of scaremongering, i am not 10 years old, that is a ridiculous accusation, one or two of the other editors know about the salary cap, i take it you choose to believe otherwise? I doubt you are the one who spoke to a Chelsea supporting journalist, unless his name is Sharkey and Sharkey has told you that its not true. I tend to believe someone who actually speaks to Carlo on a regular basis. Someone who has no problem in sharing facts rather than covering them up. Someone who is a top journalist for a top newspaper.

I advise you to listen to the Sunday Supplement podcast from the 21st November.

This salary cap is common knowledge, if you and Sharkey do not know about it then i doubt you have any inside knowledge at Stamford Bridge at all. As for not being a Chelsea supporter? I beg to differ!

"Could the Tevez saga attract any interest from chelsea? I know the chances of getting him would be slim."

More chance of Dale Winton turning straight, Tevez is on 160k a week, Chelsea's salary cap is 80k a week.

{Editors' Note: Whilst I agree that Tevez will not be joining, I can now confirm that there is no such cap at Chelsea.}

There is no official cap, but its common knowledge that we are not prepared to go above 80k a week for stellar signings. Its not something the club would broadcast on the Chelsea website as it would worry one or two fans but its 100% accurate that there is an 80k a week salary cap on stellar signings. This will be the case for most clubs now as they battle to break even by 2013-14.

Source. . a Chelsea supporting journalist who personally interviews Carlo. The same journalist that appears on 'The Sunday Supplement' regularly that has also confirmed it on the programme.
