On the Totally Football podcast this week, Rafa Honigstein said that Conte will probaly move on in the Summer and that we've had early talks with Thomas Tuchel.

He's a decent journo but hopefully wrong on this occasion (albeit Tuchel would be a decent option if 'The Hammer' left. )

In my opinion touchel is the complete and utter worse case, and all out attack manager who came in stuck tactically with Dortmund and fell out with there board, imagine him under our board and in prem if your not tactically on point it’s shows, it’s ok in Bundeslig where you have 4/ 5 tough games ( not opponents ) in the league, only manager is like would be Algeri, I’d be gutted if conte walked away. Such a top class manager, feel we couldn of backed him bit more,

I really don't think Tuchel would be first choice if Conte did go. But they need to plan for succession.

I never really pay any attention to the media nowadays but personally I'd be surprised if he did indeed stay. We're a club that likes to go through manager to manager whenever things go south not matter how highly rated you are or much you're loved by fans (Mourinho, Ancelotti) . If we fail to win anything this year or we fall far behind in the league he'll be gone as hard as it is to say. I remember reading a while ago as well that he wanted more control and to be seen as an actual manager rather than a "Head coach". Club is bigger than anyone so if he does go we'll move on as always, but this one would hurt more than any other.

My guess is that every football fan believes that the media/ press desperately try to undermine/ sensationalise all aspects of their club.
Chelsea as the best team in the world understandably attract a much wider media commentary than any other team.
The unfortunate thing is that most of the comments made by nearly all of the various forms of media are total rubbish!

I'm with Matt on this. I don't like Tuchel, at all. He's an all out gungho attack manager, and unless you've got ridiculously talented attackers like City, that's not going to work. If Conte were to move on I would actually like us to maybe get Sarri. Brilliant coach, though it's doubtful he'd leave Napoli with them doing so well.

I'd go with Sarri too, although he's equally as gungho.
