It is believed Valencia are looking to arrange a loan deal for the 21-year-old Romeu with the option to buy, i really hope this is not true as i believe he could be one of the best defensive midfielders in a few years when he actually get some playing time.

Too slow and not mobile enough for the prem!

He got playing time against united and swansea and was poor,against swansea he didn't make 1 tackle in 45 mins.

Well atleast he helped defending and sprinting back, a thing Mikel dosent do. You are an person to think he is as good as the swansea game, he got what 90min playing time this season? to compare that with mikels 1450min this season is insane, if he played on a regulary basis he is much better than him and he is 5 years younger and also he can actually hit the ball with his head :o

If you look at him in 5 years he is gonna be much, much better than Mikel he just needs playing time which he havent got for a year. why on earth do you think Valencia want him? i bet they have a better players in the pivot than we have atm as they actually managed to beat AM.

When AVB used Romeu he looked far better than Mikel no doubt about that.

He is a much better (lone) holding midfielder (in a 4-3-3) than when he plays in the pivot (in a 4-2-3-1). Mikel is the opposite.....unfortunately as RDM plays with a double pivot, Romeu idn't getting a look in.

If we sell him its like shooting ourself in the foot. A loan deal on the other hand could we benefit alot from if we arent gonna use him.
but then we only have 1 defending midfielder thats why RDM is so stupid not to play him that he eventually wanna leave and we only have Mikel left, his lack of change in the team hits both the bench and starting players Fatigue/ not playing football.

Hey ed, is there any clubs looking to buy sturridge in january ? because I reckon we need a better second striker, he simply ain't good enough. If so, what players would we be interested in ? {Ed002's Note - Nobody had made any approach to Chelsea about a move for Sturridge in January when I last checked.}

To be fair to the guy he has never had a proper chance to prove it one way or another.
ALthough his poor attitude is probably one of the main reasons.

Send Sturridge to Spurs on a free transfer, he seems to favour playing for them !!!

Read the posts mate. Ed002 has made it abundantly clear that a striker is the priority for January, however, we will not be held to ransom.

How do you expect him to know definitely, that we will sign a striker, and who the striker is, when it's November 12th? You didn't get a response because you were being very ignorant, and I'd imagine Ed002 is already getting fed up with the same questions being asked.
