{Ed002's Note - Dayot Upamecano (CB) looked at by Bayern Munich as a Jerome Boateng replacement and they had another preferred plan which they can no longer achieve - so he is back on the cards. Barcelona have DU on a long list of CBs primarily because he is more affordable than others as he only has a year left on his contract - but they are fearful of making another Umtiti or Mina type error. Milan asked about a price but they have financially more viable options in what are tough times for them. Real Madrid enquired after him when discussing Werner with RBL, but they have preferred options so he will be down the list a bit. Dayot Upamecano is staying where he is for now but expect Bayern Munich to continue discussions with RBL to take the player in the summer. Plenty of other sides would look to him if agreement cannot be reached with Bayern Munich in the summer.
Ali Akman (F) Bursopor rejected an offer from Galatasaray for the youngster who has attracted the attention of a number of sides who have been able to scout some of the games. Bursopor want an auction this month as he is running down his contract and are hoping to raise €5M, which is what they have asked RBS, who have met to discuss the player, to pay. Leicester City, Sassuolo, Bayer Leverkusen, Chelsea and Lille are all known to have scouted the player. There may well be other as well.}

DU is a good option for 42€M but I think he has his fair share of mistakes.
Jules Koundé of Seville is a very interesting player. He is French and he can play 2 positions. I think he can form a good partnership with Zouma as well.
I'm not sure if we are interested though. Ed002 your insight is appreciated, as always.

If we are thinking about moving up a level we should be looking to replace Zouma not finding a new partner; he is far too ponderous .
