Is Lewandoski a target for January, i know we have been linked with him in the past? {Ed002's Note - Dortmund's Lewandowski was watched last year by Liverpool, PSG, Real Madrid, Rubin Kazan, Manchester United, Spartak Moscow (who were concerned about losing Welliton), Juventus and Lille. I very much suspect Bayern Munich would be top of the list with a cheque in hand should he not agree an extension at Dortmund, but Dortmund certainly do not want to sell him to BM. The other more viable options are Arsenal, Manchester United, Juventus (albeit he is now far from first choice for them as they are closing in elsewhere). Chelsea have considered Lewandowski but I don't know of any bid being made and there would not have been a bid anywhere close to the 35M euro Dortmund value him at. At present Dortmund and the player have been unable to reach agreement over a new deal but that does not mean that they won't. At present, there is no agreement in place for him to join any other club.}

ED002 with it likely Terry will be out for a few months is it likely we will try to sign a defender in January as it leave us very light? {Ed002's Note - Why don't we wait until we know the extent of the injury before discussiong such matters.}

Any info on it ED some say not as bad as first feared? {Ed002's Note - Of course not.}

I thought Azpilicueta and Bertrand were superb today, both of them tracked up and down the line really well. Ramires again played well. Torres was excellent, he linked up well today with Oscar and Co. I though Mata wasn't amazing, today but still fine. Mikel wasn't great at all, he is so slow, and he's scoring record from midfield isn't good enough. He'll instead of passing is 15 yards, he'll run 10 yards and then play a 5 yard pass, slowing everything down.

Also why does Marin never play, it's really starting to annoy me, another quick midfielder in there would have made the complete difference.

No Plan B.

PR! {Ed002's Note - Marin is a squad member who has been coming back to fitness after injury.}

PR I agree with a few things you say here. The two full-backs were fantastic today. Terry and Ivanovic look solid as a CB pairing! I agree that Torres had a good game, however he isn't what we need up front. We aren't going to win the league with him upfront. He isn't a ruthless striker, he doesn't get in the box enough, after watching today's game I now feel even more that we're desperate for Falcao or Cavani. Mata was very poor today, I said his miss would cost us and it did in the end. RDM took off Oscar who is the player who I think looked most likely to unlock the Liverpool defence. Mikel for me has to be replaced, he gives the ball away far too much and gives away needless fouls! We need height in that position. Fellaini would be perfect as he is naturally a defensive midfielder. Ramires was quality........AGAIN! We just can't keep missing chances!

I agree both Cesar and Bertrand were excellent, Torres worked his socks of and was unlucky.
Mikel is too slow for Chelsea and for the prem with and without the ball.
Ramires works hard and never gives up but I feel we need someone next to him who is better in possesion so we can start attacks without Mata, Hazard and Oscar coming so deep.
I am not convinved by the 2 deep midfielders I dont think we need it, I know we are trying to accomodate all three above but in the more physical faster prem games I am not sure if we can get away with playing all three at once.
Ivo and Terry/Cahill looked much better in defence, Cech hardly had a save to make.

Agree0 Disagree0

Chelsea Nick. Fellaini is an awful DM. I'd rather Mikel. Fellaini has only been good this season when he's played off the front man.

Agree0 Disagree0

Torres was not excellent today and rarely, if ever has been in a Chelsea shirt. If we're to compete, we need a striker who is capable of scoring goals regularly - with the exception of his tenacious, but flukey goal against Shakhtar last week, he hasn't scored in over a month. Not good enough for a team that plays with a lone striker and who expect to compete in every competition they play in.

Agree0 Disagree0

Fellaini has always been good! Fair enough he's scored more goals this season but to say you'd rather have Mikel is pathetic.

Chelsea Nick

I've always thought that Mikel is useless but he's actually impressed me this season. He will definately get his first goal soon.

ED002 a few questions for you if you can answer them please do

1) Are Mondengladbach interested in Signing Marin in January?

2) Are there to be any more contract talks for Ashley Cole?

3) Is Lampard considering a offer from a chinese club?

Thanks
BLUEBLOOD {Ed002's Note - There is no need to repeatedly ask the same questions. (1) See previous answers. (2) Cole has an offer and he can now consider it and either agree to sign it or wait until January to see what other offers are available to him. (3) Lampard will have several options available, including an offer from China, but I am told that no decision has been made just yet.}

Ed 002 Is the offer to Ashley 12 months or longer?
If its 12 months hes off in the summer thats for sure and I dont blame him. {Ed002's Note - Cole will almost certainly be leaving in the summer, yes.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed002 Given what you have said are the club watching any Left Backs currently and if so do you know who ?
Thanks {Ed002's Note - The club look at many, many players throughout the course of the season but it is a much smaller list than they would be interested in, and a much smaller list than they would enquire about, and a much smaller list than they would look to make an offer on and a much smaller list than they would actually be able to buy. Whilst there is a left back that Chelsea are interested in I really don't want to get in to giving names as it leads to abuse and grief if they don't sign.}

ED002 are we interested in Theo Walcott? {Ed002's Note - I expect that Walcott will be signing a new deal at Arsenal.}

ED002 is it true Monchengladbach want to sign Marin? {Ed002's Note - It is no more than a coach responding to a question from a journalist that was put up on the wire and picked up by a German paper.}
