Ed, Do you see Di Maria coming to Chelsea if Hazard goes to Real Madrid? Either of these players are similary priced and would solve our left wing situation perfectly. Any news on either player? {Ed018's Note - that very well could make Di Maria avalible if that was to happen.}

Di Maria want a new contract, His agent links him with Chelsea, he gets new contract.Settle down everyone, he is not coming.

With a couple of signings i'd like to see-

Cech

Ivanovic Cahill Terry Cole

Luiz Romeu

Ramires Mata De Bruyne

Higuain

Ramires never stops, Luiz has shown signs that maybe he's more suited further forward and Mata could be our answer to replacing Lampard long term. De Bruyne can cross a ball which seems to be a weak point with CFC lately and Higuan is class.... Thoughts fellow fans??

De Bruyne wont be ready for the 1st team for a while and would likely go on loan.Higuain would be good but in the summer though , if at all.

Sturridge?

I prefer to see torress come good and lead the line......

I think it is unrealistic that we will sign higuain and by the way where is sturidge (spelling) in that list? Or you will keep him on the bench ? :D

I wouldn't leave Sturridge out, Ramires is out of position and Luiz is not going to play there. de Bruyne is nowhere near ready to be able to break into our first-team. aside from that, all good! ;)

First DMF should be Essien, but he is injured and now i guess Romeu.

10 players?

I don't think it's a good idea to have just 10 players on the team. It would give us an obvious disadvantage

Not sure why people keep posting teams with Ramires playing in behind a striker. Pointless.

That really isn't his natural position and would be much less effective than playing him in a deeper role.

Perhaps we have become a little to predictable, nobody would predict a chelsea starting with 10. if this proved succesful then we could have a kamikaze hitman type who just nobbles key players and gets a red. and possibly gets arrested for gbh. Less is More.

u alright ed mate just wondering thing with the striker situation cos obvs we r in desperate need even if torres comes good he might get an injury have we had any meeting with striker such as cavani, higuin or pato and anything else happend at the almighy chelsea club cheers mate and thank for your effort u ledgend {Ed018's Note - there is interest in both Cavani and Hiquain, and i expect neither of them to move in January}

Chelsea have made a £34.7 million bid for Di Maria, no response from Madrid at present

Hope this is a true mate, if Chelsea will get him I think he will do really well and add something special to our team

Guillem Ballague just rubbished the Di Maria rumour on Sky

It's not from twitter, it's from a well known Spanish sports journalist

Ballague is certainly better informed than the Mirror and the vast majority of attention seekers on t**tter. {Ed001's Note - it must be remembered that he is not from Madrid though, his sources are Catalan-based, so his info regarding Madrid does need to be taken with a pinch of salt.}

Guillem Ballague is prob the most well known spanish sports journalist, if he has rubbished it i 100% belive its utter crap!

I can't believe he signed a new contract recently....maybe it's designed to get the maximum price for him if he ever moves on. I just wish he'd chosen us instead of Man City when he was available from Middlesbrough.

The Cahill situation remains unchanged from what I said last week about it being completed soon (obviously the Twitter followers were all at yesterdays press conference for his introduction). I've heard a Chelsea Representative is going to hold a meeting with Genk on wednesday over the possible deal of Kevin De Bruyne.

Don't get the point in getting de bruyne! We are lacking finished article players! Why buy youngsters who are just going to go straight in the reserves or loaned out like Davila and lukaku
