This confirms Neymar's buyout clause is 45m euros, £38m.

"SANTOS FC ESCLARECE OFERTA DE PROJETO DE CARREIRA A PH GANSO"

Diante das recentes declarações de representantes do Grupo DIS sobre o projeto de carreira oferecido pelo Santos FC ao atleta Paulo Henrique Ganso, o Clube esclarece que:

1) O Santos FC inaugurou recentemente área especializada em Gestão de Carreiras. O primeiro projeto específico ajudou a manter o atacante Neymar no Clube;

2) Paulo Henrique Ganso tem contrato com o Santos FC válido até 28 de fevereiro de 2015. A multa é de 50 milhões de euros e, segundo o documento, 100% dos direitos de imagem do atleta pertencem ao Clube.

This confirms Ganso's buyout clause is 50m euros, £43m.

Editor i think they use euros rather than dollars when giving them buyout clauses as no football clubs which use the dollar could afford these players, only European clubs can afford them and they use euros. Also isn't the euro stronger than both the pound and the dollar?

THESE PRICES ARE WELL OUT OF CHELSEA'S, UNITED'S, AC MILAN'S PRICE RANGE. ONLY CITY COULD AFFORD ANY OF THESE TWO. {ed's note - shouting doesn't make you any more right.}

You cannot argue the boy is right, caps lock or no caps lock. He (Ganso) has a 43m buyout clause but they would accept around 30-32m. Still i have to agree its out of our price range.

{Editor's Note: Ganso's buyout clause is in US$ - and it equates to £30-32M.}

Ed trust me i have done a report on this fella and he has a buyout clause of exactly 50m euros, not Dollars. Google it and you will find 100s of articles with 50m euros, you will find no $50m articles regarding Ganso. Neymar's clause is 45m euros which equates to around 38m sterling.

Didnt chealsea get a transfer ban when does that kick in

{Editor's Note: It was all a misunderstanding and it was withdrawn last year.}

~Wow Editor, me and you both no there was no misunderstanding, Chelsea were banged to rights! Luckily for them they have a corrupt owner with plenty of dough. Oh and the fact that Lens could have done with a nice chunk of seedy cash to change there evidence.

I don't know what you are referring to in particular, but I am pretty sure there is nothing scaremongering in what I have written.

"Unless you have the inside track then why should we believe everything you write."

It is entirely up to you whether wou pay any heed to anything I write or not. If it is something I know to be correct, then I will say. It is something that remains unconfirmed, then I will say. If it is simply my opinion, I will state that clearly.

"For someone who doesn't support Chelsea you appear to devote a lot of time writing about us."

I do support Chelsea.

"Are you a jealous fan of a rival club trying to overcome some sense of insecurity or is it another ulterior motive."

It will be insecurity.

"Either way, your posts are becoming monotonous and boring . ."

Hey, feel free just to skip over them.

". . and how would you ever cope should Chelsea buy a £20+m player and clean up domestically."

I don't really understand the point here. Chelsea have bought a number of £20M plus players - Drogba, Essien . .

"I may have you wrong because you write as though your Roman, s advisor. Apologies if that is the case."

I am not an advisor to Mr Abramovich.

Sharkey.

Hey Ed between Neymar and Lukaku who has the better chance of coming to Chelsea?
{Editor's note - I think Neymar has the better chance of joning Chelsea}

Ok roman has said the club is a self sufficent club yes they don't mean he may give chelsea a player like he did with schevchenko he nows in order for chelsea to be succesful he has to buy players which will be able to replace the great platers they have now i.e lampard and drogba anelka, are u forgetting the man has 11 billion pound in his account and won't see chelsea be second best to the likes of srsenal and man utd, If chelsea do not sign neymar they may have another tapping up case against them so they will pay the excess required to purchase neymar, The person who is constantly bringing up romans riches why don't u just worry about your own team and squad ?

Chelsea have done an excellent job of bringing through a number of younger players. There will need to be a balancing between experience and youth, but I would suggest that the club are pretty well placed at present.

Sharkey.

I agree Sharks, Chelsea do have some decent youth and i do not doubt there will still be one 10-15m buy once a season, but there are far too many people on this Chelsea website which think Chelsea are going to buy Neymar, Ganso & Lukaku, Neymar has a buy out clause of 37m, Ganso's is 50m and Lukaku will sell for more than 20m, so this is why i believe Chelsea fans need to be realistic because they will not happen. Even you were way off in the summer when you predicted two 20m buys and a monster deal, possibly Torres, it never happened and it never will, Roman has made it clear that the club is now a self sufficient club. I cannot believe why they are ignoring him. Hes not a liar.

Whatever you say about these financial regulations Roman is going to abide by these rules, all of the top teams are going to abide by these rules. Don't think for one second that this breakaway league will ever happen because it wont. Clubs will not breakaway just because one club has spent more than it should have. That is that clubs problem not everyone else's problem.

Barcelona & Real Madrid will be fine, so will United, Arsenal, Liverpool, Spurs. City will struggle and will have to let some players go, Chelsea will break even but will not generate enough to buy top players, or pay for their wages which is why Roman & Buck are trying to get a cap in place, clearly they are worried as United can still offer huge contracts and they will not be able too. The fact that Roman is trying to sell Stamford Bridge's naming rights proves he is worried but is trying his best to break even.

Why ain't you worried Sharks?

29 Oct 2010 16:21:45

Does this a club can only spend what it earns for every club in the world then? so surely then this will count for man city aswell and for manchester united

29 Oct 2010 16:20:35

Okay chelsea are a poor club and have no money to spend on players, are u happy now will u sleep better at night mr abramovic's pa

Bastian schweinsteiger has 8 months left on his contract and cannot agree on a new and will be available on a bosman deal in the summer expect chelsea to be top runners for his signature
{Editor's note - His contract runs out in the summer of 2012}

LOL Editor, a certain paper made a right blunder, yesterday it printed a whole story that Chelsea are chasing Schweinsteiger and trying to tie him down this week as his contract runs out in the summer.

The dizzy prat got it all wrong as he is out of contract in the summer 2012, so his whole article was made up, what a plum.

"Chelsea made a £185.6m turnover this year but a £47m loss, £142m is wages alone, even after Ballack, J.Cole, Beletti, Carvalho & Deco left. This is why Chelsea will no longer be able to pay 30m for a player, we cannot afford it. Neymar is priced out of our range and so is Lakuku."

You should look again at the Chelsea annual return. The charges include significant one off payments that were made in respect of departing managers. You are painting a rather too bleak picture. Sharkey.

Sharkz if Chelsea are running like a dream then why is Roman trying to sell our stadiums naming rights?

29 Oct 2010 14:56:14

Unless you can get Neymar for less than 20m you will not get him. WHY? Because you cannot afford him. {ed's note - didn't Chelsea just pay 25m for Ramires?}

NO! Ramires cost 16m and is on just 1m a year salary. So his overall transfer cost 17m (16m fee plus first years salary)

Why did you think he cost 25m? Where did you here that?
{Editor's note - I do not know where he heard that from}

Ha ha i know, i was a bit confused too, 'Chelseafc.com' said it was a 17m deal. 16m fee plus 1 years salary.

Ed where's the original Editor? The one i was speaking too in may who knew what he was talking about? Is that you? The one run all of this on his own?

Neymars wages wudnt be high just the asking price gets your facts straights non chelsea supporters get off the siteand woory about your own clubs

28 Oct 2010 21:33:16

Sharkey said back in July that he will put his neck out and say that he thinks Chelsea will sign two 20m signings and one big money signing.

Well he put his neck out and he was wrong, Chelsea signed Benayoun 5.5m (2.5m salary), Ramires 16m (1m salary), Kalas 5.2m (nominal salary)

However they sold Carvalho 6.7m, Sinclair 500k and release Ballack, Belletti, Deco, J.Cole, Sh!tloads of youngsters.

So overall he spent a net of around 20m although he let many leave saving him a lot in wages.

My point is i believe Chelsea's days of spending big are over. So i believe Roman, Gourlay and Buck when they say Chelsea are now a self sufficient club and that there will no longer be big money deals and bumper contracts at Chelsea football club.

27 Oct 2010 21:41:45

Editor, Sky Sports (a very reliable source) are saying that we are preparing a move for Dani Alves, is that a realistic story?
{Editor's note - I doubt it}

24 Oct 2010 11:16:16

Editor, who do you think will have a bigger impact and has a bigger chance of arriving at Stamford Bridge, Neymar or Dzagoev.

{Editor's Note: Both are fine players and Alan Dzagoev might prove a good long-term replacement for Lampard. Neymar may be a little too lightweight for the EPL.}

~Ed why build their hopes up, you know just as well as the rest of us that Chelsea will no longer be bringing in players like Neymar, those days are gone.

Roman's words not mine.

24 Oct 2010 00:57:33

Editor what are the chances of Chelsea signing Wayne Rooney in January.

{Editor's Note: 9%.}

@Chelsea fools, a bit of info for you, you cannot afford Rooney, Roman has already said that the salary cap is now 80k a week for any new players joining the club, did you know Ramires is only on 20k a week? He also said that he would only pay a maximum of 20m for Rooney as Chelsea are now a self sufficient club and the days of big money signings and bumper contracts are well and truly over.

Come on guys, why would you not believe your own owner? Chelsea cannot afford to pay out big money on players and big contracts as you will not be able to break even, why do you think he would not go no higher than 16.6m for Neymar? Your buying success days are numbered.

CHELSEA ARE STILL MINNOWS TO THE REST OF THE WORLD!

"Chelsea are still battling to make an impression on the global football market.

The Da!ly Ma!l says Chelsea's plan in 2005, as delivered by Peter Kenyon, was to paint the world blue.

The success of that grand ambition can be gauged by a comment made by Ines van Gennip, head of marketing for Chelsea's shirt sponsors Samsung, at the Leaders in Football conference.

She said Chelsea remain unknown outside the UK."

CHELSEA WERE RECENTLY VOTED THE THIRD MOST SUPPORTED CLUB IN THE WORLD! Having said that Ines Van Gennip is well regarded internationally for her football knowledge! !
