This has nothing to do with chelsea.
But could anyone help me? My son has a lisp and he doesn't want professional help or anything, he sais hi lisp doesn't bother him but I know it does as he has difficulty saying some words.
Words like 'scene', 'sister', 'scissors' he had difficulty with. I think he has a lateral lisp?
He doesn't have trouble with words like 'saw' and doesn't make the 'th' sound.
He's 14 and sais it doesn't bother him, but I know it does, anyone have any tips or anything!
Thanks a lot
Aron if you can give me 2 weeks I will speak to my aunty who is a speech therapist and see what she recommends, she is currently on holiday at the moment but I will copy and paste what you have put and see what advice she can offer you.

Hey, as he is 14 it's likely you have competence over him for his healthier needs but overruling him would likely cause conflict. If he persists in saying it doesn't bother him and refuses to see a specialist perhaps buy him a self-teaching cd or book. That way if you're right and it does really bother him but he's too embarrassed to admit it, he could work on it himself in private.
As long as he can say Chelsea, though, he won't be affected long term ;)
Thanks guys really appreciate it
