ED002 have real won the race for neymar then? Santos are allowing them to talk to the player is it over for chelsea? {Ed002's Note - Neymar remains a target but it is impossible to say what will happen. There is a regrouping going on again this weekend of the guys who have been in Argentina and Brazil. They are now back in Colorado and I guess there will be some discussions with the management team about strategy coming up.}
So Ed002 - is our transfer operation being handled in the Rocky Mountains?
{Ed002's Note - Only some of it - and it is really in the Elk Mountains range in any case).}
Or is it too much to ask?
{Ed002's Note - It is too much to ask.}

hi ed, i havent actually seen anyone ask you this, but are you actually confident going into this season? for example will we bring in the right players and compete in all fronts? {Ed018's Note - im confident that they will do what they can to bring in the players we need. we will definitely compete on all fronts but its impossible to say how we will actualy fare. i know everyones anxious for some signings to occur but i think we will all be feeling good come september}

Cech, Terry, Cole, Luiz, Ivanovic, Mikel, Lambard, Ramirez, Malouda, Drogba, Torres. Familiar?
Most of those guys sound familiar. Not sure who Lambard and Ramirez are though.
If you're insinuating that this is the starting XI come this August, I hope that you're wrong.

just heard that villas-boas was appointed because nobody else wanted the job in fear of being sacked after a season {Ed018's Note -not at all}
Just heard from who? Your drunk Liverpool supporting mate?

wouldnt mind swapping malouda for Nzogbia, then again i wouldnt mind swapping malouda with titus bramble {Ed018's Note - yea all we need are some of those titus bramble moments during a big match. im sure your not being serious.}
Lol Whether or not he's taking the pi$$, I'd take a bag of rocks for Malouda.

I don't know about you but I'm bored to death of this ongoing Neymar saga. So it's been going on for a year or two, right? He's on video saying Chelsea is his dream, now Real is his dream, Barca want him, City want him, he's tied down to a dodgy ownership, he's expensive. To be quite honest, I'd rather see Chelsea focus their efforts on getting a CAM/CM. Someone like Modric. An honest, proven, hard working player. We need some wingers too. All this striker stuff with Neymar, I couldn't care less anymore. Would rather see Torres start upfront with Sturridge next season.
Sheesh... you're bored to death of the Neymar rumours, but are okay with the incessant Modric drivel from the tabloids? Crack me up...

Looks like Chelski are gonna miss out on Neymar and Nasri, with the Nasri deal the most dissapointing considering missing out on Modric and Essien injured, we could easily have gotten Nasri for 23 million and lets not forget he was one of the best players in PL last year, missed out on a bargain if you ask me
His contract is up in a year, so £23 million is a crazy amount of money.
£12 million is more like it.

Do Chelsea need such high profile and expensive signings? Claudio Marchisio, and Alberto Aquilani are both available and would add depth to our midfield at a good price. The creative mid position is more difficult. KDB could be a smart purchase and Diego from Wolfsburg is available on the cheap. However, i think the need for a creative mid is not as desperate as it would appear. Yossi has a few seasons in him and Josh appears to have some creative passing qualities. Let us not forget that Chelsea has great collective creative ability, emphasised by short passing and solid structures. AVB will continue to emphasise a team approach to all parts of our game. The onus of creativity will not be imparted on individuals...
I do understand that these views are not likely to be popular on this site
I totally agree mate, however i think someone with alot of instinctive creativity is needed aswell as a winger and a right back, we dont massive changes, 3 young players will be good enough
"Let us not forget that Chelsea has great collective creative ability, emphasised by short passing and solid structures."
Yep, all that silverware we won last season
