Is it true that Bakyoko has been superb in the last 4-6 weeks?

As I said recently, that's what I've read from AC Milan fans at least. Also, I believe he's been named their man of the match 3 or 4 games in a row, so he really seems to have improved a lot. Haven't seen any of their matches myself though.

I saw a few bits early on and tubes he cane on to shut up shop and it didn’t work and he looked lost, then saw how he looks like the Monaco player again . Hopefully, for him Chelsea and Milan.

Just a quick question for you all, I don't know how many (if any of you) read the review of the day news round up I do each day, but on a Monday I used to do an 'And Finally. ' section on the end with footballing anecdotes based around a theme. After chatting with a group of people on the Liverpool site, they have requested I turn that into a separate longer article that I do regularly.

Anyway, for those that are interested in reading it, what kind of anecdotes would you be interested in:

Would you like it to just stick to football only?

Would you be interested in any sports-based anecdotes?

Or would you want it to also include slightly unrelated anecdotes as well? As in just something funny (well I hope it would be funny anyway! ) that came to mind.

I am fine with any type of anecdotes. But I guess since we are all football fans, there should be at least one or two football anecdote a month.

Every once in a while, it's nice to be reminded that there's a world not only surrounding football, and although these sites are football-related, I myself would enjoy reading random anecdotes on here as well!

Great performance by the chaps yesterday
Best win in a long time
I know Luiz azpi and alonso, willian have come in for some stick but are good players but I'd like to point out kepa I think he is a tremendous keeper and I prefer him to Tibo already who ever scouted him needs a pay rise never heard of him before he came to us
Glass half full chaps.

Hi guys, my weekly question (sorry i missed it last week) is:

In which game you think our players performane was the best? It can be any chelsea game from any era.

I will start it with the game we drew (but actually lost the tie) againsy Barcelona in champions league. We only alloelwed them to hsve 1 shot on goal and if not referee would definatelly won it.

That team probably is still pur strongest chelsea team ever in my opinion.

Mine was the win over Barcelona when we needed to win by 2, went into 3-0 lead straight away and Ronaldinho got a pen and a wonder goal. JT with the last minute header, huge performance.

I’m a Liverpool fan but this performance against city was a tactical masterclass, I thought you had the players to hurtcity but not in the way you did, you soaked the pressure well which shocked me with the current defence, you have a good setup there at the minute, a goal scorer to assist hazard and manage to fit the midfield players together properly and you’re sorted. Even though I dislike Chelsea the team with frank essien, terry a prime Cech and the monster Drogba was special.

The 8-0 against Wigan is certainly a fun one, needed to tie up the title and we did it in such style. Drogba hat-trick to clinch the golden boot too. Ashley Cole with a rare goal and what a goal it was. That 09/ 10 team was incredible and scored goals for fun.

Same defence that let a last minute goal in against you the best striking team in prem lol.

I think the first few games with Mourinho after buying Cesc and Diego, we were playing some of the most beautiful football I've ever seen. Especially, I recall Schürlle's goal against Burnley as a symptom of how well we were playing at that point. I also think that we played extraordinarily in some of the games with Conte.

Oh also remembered first few games of Di Mateo management when we bought Hazard. Mata oscar and hazard were just superb in diamond shape.

Is there any reason why Fernandinho never gets carded Ed001? He makes foul after foul and nothing happens, Jorginho made one and got a yellow straight away, it's infuriating. He makes a foul, gets 500 warnings, followed by a yellow and after that he's free to do what he wants without a second yellow, it such BS.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

{Ed001's Note - this has been a subject that comes up time and time again and no one has ever figured out how Fernandinho gets away with so many fouls. Personally I think it is down to Pep putting pressure on officials. But he could literally decapitate an opponent and still only get a ticking off! It is unreal. I read somewhere they are top of the 'fair play' league this season and I immediately thought if Fernandinho and Kompany had got even half of the cards they deserved they would be at the bottom.}

He's the master of the sly tactical foul. I think personally it is because he always backs off after the foul rather than confront the refereee- another player does that. I remember when Bayern used to do it with Martinez and Muller would always be deployed to scream at the referee.
Have to say, Eric Dier is as bad an offender.

Refereeing has literally never been so bad in the last 20 odd years, needs to be put to a stop.

Since I didn't see the game so focused last night, as my friends and I were getting pretty drunk at that moment, I saw it again this morning, and you're absolutely right, saying that he backs off, after committing fouls. I can remember one specific foul yesterday, where I at first thought it was Delph who'd committed it, since Fernandinho was already far away right after.

I like pep he’s a very amiable guy and a great managger but I don’t like the fact his teams get favourable treatment, himself perhaps too. If the whole Catalonian symbol thing was somebody else like Mourinho I can’t help but think the media and FA would have crucified him. It takes a smart player to take a booking form time to time, Lucas did it for us, but that seems to be all fernandinho's game is and he escapes punishment.

Re Fernandinho, he has taken the yaya you’re mantle, foul on foul never gets booked.

Great victory today.

David Luiz was phenomenal, Its been awhile since I last seen Azpi play so well. Rudiger as always is Mr reliable. Kante was great. It's a shame that we need to play a top team to be motivated.

Consistency is what we need, we need to build on this victory. We need the team to play consistently always. Hopefully if we can limit the damage until January so we can then buy ourselves a top striker.

A new striker maybe get us the top 4. Hopefully we buy a rw and full backs and then il say we genuinely will be title contenders.
