As I understand it, a standard loan between English clubs can be made until the 31st August.
Also, a club can make a standard loan for a player until the 31st August with an agreement to buy at the next Window.
Maybe if any of the Ed's are still awake they could confirm this?

Kalas- didn't he go to Middlesborough?
Piazon- Milan wanted him, although apparently Sarri was very impressed by him in pre-season
Bakayoko- Milan
Drinkwater- Wants a loan abroad. Think he might end up staying.
Moses- Move to Wolves fell through. Not sure if anyone else wants him.
Zouma- Will find out today if deal went through.
Aina- Looks to be going to PSV to replace Arias. A great loan, but got to make sure we don't lose him totally.

I’d personally start him he’s the only natural goal scorer we have. But unfortunately I think Sarri will stick with Morata for the first few games.

Still gutted we haven't signed a quality RW but I'd rather us give Hudson-Odoi a go instead of a panic buy. Lads got tons of talent I just hope Sarri gives him a run he's deserved it so far. Then maybe next window try for Bailey to replace Willian or Pedro and bring in a good left back.
This team will take at least a few months to take shape so we have to be patient. But I'm certain Sarri will get us back to the top playing beautiful football.

It’s all gone very quiet now. Maybe that is the end of the window. I’m very pleased with the business we’ve done. But must admit would have loved a striker. Just have very short confidence on the ones left in our squad. Hoping once we get into the proper way, Sarri wants us to play, we could maybe get the best out of Morata (but feel he doesn’t fit this formation! )

If reports are true and we can get Martial in some kind of swap deal for Zouma that would be a cracking end to our summer window.
Martial could play as our striker, he started out as a striker after all, mourinho has just pushed him on the wing.

He played out on the wing under LVG aswell mate, i actually wouldn't mind if he left, just don't know what to think of him anymore. I'd happily take Willian in return, also, you've done some fantastic business this summer, you'll get top 4 for sure.

I must say that I simply do not get the Kovacic loan, unless it's with an option to buy. One can easily imagine that Real would simply put in immense sum on his head otherwise, if he should perform really well. Of course we would get a really, really strong midfield, but why not take a chance with RLC or Barkley instead of potentially having to splash out with a lot of money next year - we might even risk that they'd demand Eden for any deal involving Kovacic.

Morning Chelsea, you lucky buggers, looks like you're getting Fekir. I'm gutted he didn't come to Liverpool but what a player Chelsea is getting. I've read good things about your keeper too, I've never seen him play so I can't really have an opinion but apparently he's top notch and has the potential to be way up there. I think fans of Liverpool and Chelsea can overall be very happy with our transfer windows this summer?
Anyway good luck to your new players and good luck to Chelsea next season.

You are more sure on Fekir than me. Regardless, a good window. Keeping Hazard and Kante whilst adequately replacing Courtois automatically means an okay window. Kovacic and Jorginho are brilliant players who suit Sarriball a lot. And we've finally integrated Hudson-Odoi and Loftus-Cheek into the squad. Overall good. Fekir/ Martial would make it absolutely amazing, but can't see either happening for now.
If Liverpool get anything like £15m for Origi, then Edwards should be doing Brexit negotiations. He is one of the most clueless strikers I've ever seen.

last couple of days have surely changed the way our window is shaping out to be. If we can get in Fekir It would be an amazing summer and with him and hazard staying third place should be achievable. Target should be the title but I think it will take us time to perfect sarriball. Liverpool has done some pretty good business, but I think more then missing out on fekir If you guys can sign a CB to partner VVD it would definitely make you the favorites.

“Breaking” news as of yesterday saying we may make a last ditch effort to sign Mauro Icardi on deadline day. I genuinely don’t understand where they get these ideas from.
On another note, I’m happy with the business we’ve done! Sarri, Jorginho, Kepa, Kovacic and possibly now a winger (? ) . We do need to be patient and let the new system take hold, but I figure we’ll make a strong push for the top 4 this season.

Don't be surprised if that is true Matt_24 as he has had some family issues and indicated a fresh start. Our Italian office says Inter do not want to lose him but cash and Morata could persuade a last minute deal with Sarri having grave reservations about Morata.

Just a little inkling but I think we'll sign another player later, before the window shuts. My guess would be Fekir. if we do I'd say that's a very good window. Especially as we've kept Hazard, Kante and Willian.

Unlike the last few transfer windows, I must say this one has been been really decent. I will put it on par with the window when we got Fabregas, Costa and Courtois a few years back. I'm glad the club have improved and learned from their mistakes from buying quantity over quality. We have real quality in the side now.
I'm confident that Kante and Hazard will sign new contracts, surely we've made a statement spending big on individual players, none of us could question the ambition like we have been the last few windows. Big Roman strikes back. Well done to Marina in the end, long but got there in the end. Up and up we go!

Standard mate as a parisien and one that follows the French league. All I can say is that Fekir is the closest thing to Hazard I have seen in world football. He is like the left footed version of Eden . Plus he has a wicked delivery from set pieces. Obviously Eden is head and shoulders above him but Fekir has all it takes to be a hit.
If we get him keep Eden and Kante I think we would play some beautiful football .
