I do tend to agree with certain comments that are being made with regard to Rooney. If we, and Jose in particular rate him so highly why are we offering such a small ( in striker terms) for his services. Will not Rooney start to think, well if that's all they value me at I might go somewhere else. We are leaving ourselves open to a bid of £40-£45m coming in from arsenal.dan

Beacause over the past 12 months Feguson/United haven't rated him so highly. He has been left out of key games and even the squad.
Ferguson accused Rooney of submitting a second transfer, which Rooney has denied and subsequently the club has refused to confirm this either way. He is pissed off with United and wants out.
Another reason being he only has 2 years left on his contract and Woodward has stated that there are NO planes in the immediate future to discuss contract renewal with Rooney.
He is not first choice to play in his prefered position and Moyes has said as much.
£30m to £35m is his value. don't you think?

Plus united signed the Epl golden boot winner a year ago for 26mil, granted Van Persie was a year older but no way should we pay 40 mil for Rooney.

Haha Marin scores against United and Sevilla lead at half-time. On a different note, what a player Kroos is. Watching Bayern against Monchengladbach, he's really really gifted.

How can you say that when he got hardly any minutes. When you get left out for 8 games, then injury. Then ignored by the waiter what can you do. He is a very good player. I would of gambled on keeping marko than signing Schurrle or even letting Moses go.

He was just unlucky with us with injuries. It is very difficult to come into a team in the middle of a season, especially a team that was struggling.
Hopefully he will get a chance next season.

Imo, he did get a chance and against lesser competition also in cup matches. I don't know bruvs, It didn't take me an entire match even to know see that Oscar and Hazard are class that's all I'm saying.

Marins issue and it isn't really his issue is that he's very similar to what we currently have in kdb and hazard to an extent. Then you have Moses who is a workhorse of a winger and all the other guys are a class above. Then you have to factor in Marin's injury history. That said I saw red every time the waiter threw on yossi instead of Marin.

I prefer Marin to Moses. Seen enough of him to be convinced. Marin isn't what we already have he hogs the wing, where is hazard and that see to drift central a lot.
