Torres looks like completely different player at Atletico Madrid.

That's not funny. He could bring Atletico a title.BTW he scored 23 goals under Benitez which is more than Costa in his fabulous last season. F.Luis was unable to start a game at Chelsea now he regularly starts and plays quite well for the club fighting to win la Liga and still in very good position to reach CL semi-final.

Costa scored 20 goals last season in some 25-26 games whereas Torres scored 23 in more than 60 odd games. Why would one compare these two?

Think you'll find that Diego Costa scored 21 goals in 37 matches and Fernando Torres scored 33 goals in 46 matches

You're welcome.

Who is responsible for buying our players? Why buy Matt Miazga when we have promising academy players like Clarke-Salter? We send players like Kalas and Christensen out on loan and buy the French fella (then loan him as well) and Hector who can't regularly start for Reading? Who bought Baba? Who decided we bring in a striker who couldn't cut it at Utd? Who brings in Pato? Solanke could of been 3rd choice striker. The Manager got sacked, players will be sold or released or not be given further opportunity but will the person or persons responsible for some of the above be brought to task? Rant over but something needs addressing!

Very good question, but there are more questions to be asked.

Gradually I think 'most' agree that Rahman was a bad buy and for me I will throw in Pedro. That said, Azi has not had a good season and today was run ragged. On the face of it Miazga looked way out of his depth but not reasonable to judge on one poor game as he looked competent last time. Pato is the intriguing one, still woefully not game fit but you can see their is a class act in there if staying injury free. I would play him again. I think we also got a glimpse of why they do not throw too many young players into the team; all performed well at different times but today Traore and Kenedy looked poor although Loftus-Cheek did himself no harm. I think today showed the level we are at, mid-table, no longer scare anyone and like the supporters, players itching to see the season end. If you look at the players we have had, played, sold and loaned and some of the top managers that have graced the club and we have not been as dominant as we probably should have been in the last ten years there is I think a big issue outside the player and manager areas that needs addressing.

You asked the $1m question G8.
It is not a clear picture of what is going on in there.
They are trying to like Liverpool I think and they are doing a bloody good job of it. I can see no appetite for change of a clearly failing process.
