the interest in Taison is a typical Benitez transfer move(squad player)

Believable0 Unbelievable4

We were interested in the summer though, so it has absolutely nothing to do with Benetiz. The bloke has very little input as to who we acquire, like many CFC managers before him.

Can we not write off this Taison geezer guys? Yeah, he may not be well known, but he may be a cracking player, of course we'd all want Isco over him, but lets just be patience, and be happy with the clubs signings.

PR!

Believable3 Unbelievable3

Agree... Who heard of Hernandez b4 he signed for utd but I bet we all would be happy to see him sign now!
Taison pretty gd from what I have seen of him! Skilful n bags if pace!

WheelyCFC (24)

Agree5 Disagree2

Hernandez was 18 and clearly a brilliant prospect. taison is an uncapped 24 year old brazillian who appears to play in the same postion as oscar and mata, two players who are clearly better than him. either that or he plays up front, in which case his goal record of 13 in 57 is woeful. that is why im writing taison off.

Agree3 Disagree2

I still got an issue with Taison, he is not a young player anymore he is 25 in a few days and i really don't know how much he can develop compared to younger players like, Isco, Hazard, Oscar, Moses, Piazon, Deulofeu, i can keep on going.
From my PoV i think Taison is a wrong move partly due to his age and skill level but maybe he can prove me wrong, and i really don't think we need anymore midfielders its really a shame Oscar don't get any play time when he can be one of the best midfielders tbh i even think he can get better than Hazard but he needs playing time for that.

Agree5 Disagree0

Agree in parts... But to be fair I'd rather see Chelsea spend a bit less with a unproven player ( no pressure on him) thn keep sending stupid amounts of money on players tht flop eg Torres shevchenko etc
Moses (winger/ striker) never had a partically gd scoring record in front of goal at Wigan, but he's not doin a bad job for us!

Just my option... Can't write someone off b4 he gets going! Like we all did with rafa too.

WheelyCFC (24)

Agree2 Disagree1

Speak for yourself about writing rafa off.
I always thought he'd do a good job. And as for taison, I've never heard of him and ain't gunna judge him on you tube clips. Hopefully whoever scouted him knows a lot more than us. But at the end of the day it ain't my money so couldn't give a monkeys.

Agree1 Disagree0

Id rather piazon played more, give marin a chance or recall de bruyne than sign a 24 yearold, who looks only half decent in the ukrainian league. and a 12 million price tag. BLUEBOY1

Has sturridge suddenly become a comedian because saying he is at the biggest club in england is making me laugh so much and probably all utd fans too, you are a clown sturridge arn't you.

Believable12 Unbelievable4

What a clown he is. I am so glad he is gone. The bloke needs some serious football education. Saying that about Liverpool sums it up his mental capacity. Proitos

Agree6 Disagree4

Joe Cole said the same and look where his career has gone, get stuck up in all the Liverpool "history" hype

PB

Agree3 Disagree3

A club who still thinks they are a big club and a player who thinks he is the best and should of been ahead of drogba anelka and Torres..
Mattm

Agree5 Disagree3

You meen the club who have won 5 european cups? More than any other english team by a mile an more than any other team in europe bar real madrid and milan?

Agree3 Disagree3

How many decades ago??

Agree6 Disagree2

Your welcome to sturridge loserpool fc made for each other both losers.

Agree2 Disagree2

Liverpool and there history how boring is it remembering the 70's and 80's so long ago my friends.

Agree4 Disagree2

Sturridge should have said how good it is joining a medium size club after being at two big clubs ie city and chelsea, so easy to be truthful sturridge.

Agree3 Disagree2

Well no matter how bad liverpool are now no one would ever say chelsea are the biggest club in the country would they? They never have been an never will be, atleast liverpool were for 20 odd years an will always be one of the biggest

Agree6 Disagree2

You never know of Chelsea wil dominate everything in the future... Who knows? Football is unpredictable and that is what makes it fun.

Swansea are not a physical team but do play good football and michu is a brilliant player,, so I would play lamps alongside luiz and Oscar further forward,, I think Torres will start and BA will start v stoke on Saturday,,
Mattm

I hope ba starts both.

For the same reasoning I would start Ramires next to Luiz. Same reaction the last 2 seasons every time lamps finds the net, at the start of the season when Lamps wasn't scoring 98% of those on here said he should sit. Then, when robbie sat him we were giving Ramires motm honours when he didn't even score when we were winning, and now after a run of not so good performances from Ramires we want Lamps back in. Bottom line hasn't changed, if Lamps is not scoring he doesn't do other things well enough (defence, passing) to really help the team imo.

Agree3 Disagree1

Yeah good call with Ramires in beside Luiz and Oscar hazard mata in front them.. I would like Ba to start both but can't see it,, think rafa will rotate

Dont know why chelsea gave mikel a 5 year contract he isnt good enough, id have david luiz and recall essien if we decide to sell lampard bring in a new defensive midfielder

Believable7 Unbelievable7

You havent a clue what your on about

Agree9 Disagree9

Essein is past it unfortunately

Agree5 Disagree8

He may be past it but hes still 100 times better than mikel

Agree7 Disagree6

Mikel is past it ever since the tournament we spotted him at.

JG

Agree6 Disagree4

Apparently Mikel was thought of as an attacking mid. Most ridiculous thing I've ever heard.

Jordan

Never liked mikel, never will. essien is still by far better. mikel is a joke. BLUEBOY1

are we looking into the possibility of bringing in any deeper lying midfield players in this window?

tiason this fellani that! where on earth are we gonna play these ppl! its getting stupid now! you can only field 11 players at a time and 1 is a keeper and mata is the first name down on the team sheet! some players have got to move on or there are players that are not settled at the club like hazard, oscar or marin mabe! its good to have a strengh in depth but all in the same position is getting stupid! wot about kevin de bruyen and josh wot are these players thinking it can't be good for the team! you need 2 players in each position not 30 player for 5 places in midfield!kevinCFC

Believable0 Unbelievable5

Hazard Oscar unsettled you crack me up! Lol

Wheelycfc

Agree6 Disagree0

If you look at every matchday programme our squad is not as deep as the opposition.
Like it or not even the best players need to be rested and as has been seen although our bench is strong its no where near good enough meaning that several midfieldes will leave.
Its eary days to say too much about Marin but on first showing he seems a little too fragile, Frank as we know is soon to leave, Mikel I would guess (despite signing a new contract) could be available, Romeu is injured and even he seems a little off the top level off quality. Moulda is soon to depart and Yossi likewise. Josh, well the jury is out and lets face it Lui who has been holding a midfield position down is in effect there by default.

Definite case of split personality disorder. I still want to know where villa is? I thought it was more than 100% Kevin? Glad you got that wrong.

I see Taison very much as a replacement in the squad for Daniel Sturridge - other than that wonder volley and other biased YouTube clips I haven't seen much of him so wouldn't be able to say if he's an upgrade or not! Him added to the additional signing of Ba and our forward situation is looking a lot healthier - all be it Taison will see more time on the right!

I'd like to see either Benat or Isco added to the midfield (my preference is for Benat as he'd suit the role we need better) this winter, with a loan back till the end of the season/when Lampard leaves not being a massive issue. Also possibly either Baines or Coentrao added to left back for next season; if Cole goes.

I'd hope the summer will also, more than likely, see Torres swapped with either Falcao or Cavani as the number one striker!

I genuinely think we are these signings, or signings of similar position/ability, away from seriously competing on all fronts again!

You seem to have totally missed the point of this site. It is for Chelsea fans to come and air their views and opinions to each other and discuss the club we love.
It does not mean we are all right all the time and that any of it will ever happen.
As fans of the club we are all equally entitled to our own opinions, whilst we should remeber to respect the same right for others. Not just shoot them down and critisice them.

I don't mind people disagreeing with my posts, to be honest I quite like it - at least they have an opinion! But...xyz...I'm sorry I didn't realise I'd hacked into Romans email account and was ruining his thinking time with my posts about the players I'd like to see the clubs sign! I'll stop posting now so Roman as more time to think about his new signings - sorry Roman but more importantly sorry xyz.
