Guys we have short memories. Remember one "SHEVCHENKO" how long did we back him and all believe he would begin scoring. Sell Torres and get someone new in ASAP. We didn't pay 50 mil for a playmaker we paid the money for a striker and thats what we need. Take the medicine and start a fresh.

Has anyone noticed how none of our strikers seem to be scoring at the moment . It's only lamps Ramires mata that can actually score ... Oh and Sturridge too but he's a winger and he's injured. Seemed like a flattering result from what I heard .

I admit I would be nice to see Torres on the scoresheet. But, it's more important that the team are scoring full stop. Also, considering the tactics and formation we play with the goal scoring responsibilty is much more widespread.

why do chelsea leave everything to the last min in the transfer market! chelsea have a poor relationship with the fans! tell us nothing!

So you want them to tell us every time they do something in the transfer market?! Every time they scout a player?! Everytime they talk to an agent?! What a ridiculous comment that is!

If the club told us what they did then other clubs would know as well!

And how are they leaving everything till the last minute. It's the 8th of January! Ed 002 has also mentioned that we have spoken to a couple of clubs and enquired about a few players. It is also a fact that most busy in a transfer window is done in the last few days of the window!

We will leave everything untill the last min! u wait 11pm deadline day and cahill is just gettin in a helicopter! yes i want roman to come out and back this manager instead of all these plastic fans getting on his back! u plastic fans dnt relise wot avb is working with! old,slow washed up players who were brought from old managers! i want chelsea to name a hit list of players they intrested in so it stops all this stupid transfer rubbish u lot keep posting! doesnt matter if other clubs know we got the power to be up with transfer fees and contracts etc...

A couple of points (I posted the middle comment):

1) What do you classify as a 'plastic fan'? If its someone who has supported Chelsea their whole life and gets to as many games as financially possible, then I am a plastic fan!

2) I think it would be a stupid idea to name a list of transfer targets. Yes we may have the money to pay high transfer fees and high wages, but due to the financial fair play rules we cannot afford to be getting into auctions with other teams. Therefore keeping our transfer targets secret is the best tactic. When have you ever seen a club release a list of transfer targets?!

3) All this 'rubbish' that is posted on here is part of the fun of transfer windows. Without websites like this, transfer windows would be an extremely boring time for everyone, especially if you already knew who everyone was targeting.

4) I do believe that the transfer deadline closes at 11pm (I will apologise if I am wrong) so if Cahill is getting in a helicopter at 11pm on transfer deadline day, I'm afraid it will be too late! Plus, he will sign in the next few days.

5) People just need to have a little more faith in our upper management team and AVB. They know who they are after and are making efforts to obtain these players. If they do not get these players, they will not then turn there attention to a second rate player. As we have seen, they only want the best players and im happy with that. If we do not get any players in (apart from Cahill) in this transfer window, then I will know that the club have tried there best to get their targets and that unfortunately they just wern't available.

The situation Lampard finds himself in is no different to that which Scholes or Giggs found themselves in at Utd.
All legends at their respective clubs, but there comes a time when you go from being one of the first names on a team sheet to being just a squad player; this tends to happen in a very short period of time too. The simple fact is Lampard either needs to accept this or leave; this choice is his not AVB's.
AVB isn't trying to force Lampard out, no more so than Fergie tried to force either Scholes or Giggs out.
If Chelsea had a better player than Miereles to play instead of Lampard then we wouldn't be hearing comments such as, "keep Frank, get rid of the w**k".
Lets not let our hearts rule our heads here.

Trust in Chelsea, trust in AVB; this time next season you'll see a much better squad.

Scholes on the bench today, explain that!

The explanation is simple, Fergie looked at alternatives...(Lampard included)...and either, like Lampard, he couldn't get them or, like Sneijder, they were too much money.
He saw Scholes as a good short term solution to a gap in the squad (squad, not first 11).
