Sky Sports have just revealed that it cost Chelsea in the region of £28,000,000 yes thats £28,000,000 to fire Achelloti and his coaching team. If you then add on £15,000,000 it cost to get AVB from Porto, your looking at nearly £45,000,000 spent firing and hiring Chelsea managers in the last season and a half. If we want a sustainable club that can financially compete we need a manager that is going to stay put for longer than a season. We need to back AVB and get behind his objectives for the next few years otherwise were also going to keep wasting HUGE sums of money,

So fabio capello has resigned, I say good for him the fa are shocking how they conduct themselves JT should still be captain.

I would love to see Harry Redknapp as manager and Jamie Redknapp as his number 2 in my opinion that would be fantastic.

Dear Ed I heard that when Roman visited Cobham recently it was to supervise the execution of Malouda by firing squad but the Frenchman was saved at the eleventh hour by the European Courts of Human Rights. Sounds like b****cks to me but you just never know with Roman.

Surely the European Court of Human Rights has an appeals process?

Can someone explain...why we dont attempt to change the formation. 442 would be a good start! Maybe having a strike partner will help Torres out...he aint didier so no point playing him there on his tod...same problem with Shevi when he was there. Dont understand why no one can see it...we dont have the wingers to play the current formation since Duff and Robben...its never been the same...Anelka did a job on the right for a while until we for whatever reason dropped him...Malouda and Kalou are pants...Kakuta and Stoch would have been better than those two! I just think its worth trying...united do alright with 442...so why cant we! David Luiz is the only one who gives a monkey in that team today!

I am prepared to give AVB the benefit of the doubt and see what the situation is at the end of the season, but at some point during the summer and beginning of next season, there has to be some evidence of improvement. My main fear is that while he could well be a tactical genius (little evidence so far), he hasn’t overseen the re-development of a team before and hasn’t got the experience of developing youngsters. I also get the impression his position in the dressing room is not that strong, and from here it will be extremely difficult to strengthen it. What really frustrates me though is the resistant to use any of the younger players on the periphery of the first team squad. With Ryan Bertrand for instance, I understand the decision not to throw him in against Utd, but am baffled as to how little he has used him over the season. The guy has played nearly 150 professional games in his career and is 22 years old. If that isn't enough experience to get his chance then god help all of the others trying to break through. It’s not as if Ashley Cole has been in scintillating form, the Spurs game aside. It is frustrating to watch the team play at the moment, and I worry about some of the youngsters walking out for a lack of opportunities, and you can't blame them, you just need to see how well Sinclair is doing at Swansea to realise that there is some top talent at the club, that if encouraged could develop into quality professionals. It's just a shame their only chance to display it is seems to be at mediocre teams in Holland.

That said, there is a long way to go this season, and hopefully AVB and the players can turn it round. There were signs at the weekend that our form is improving, so hopefully we can hold onto fourth.

Personally I deal we eithe need to sign two wingers so mata can go center and push sturridge up top or a creative midfield player and right winger (preferably hazard )
