who is more likely to sign for chelsea sneijder or fabregas ?

Believable0 Unbelievable7

Neither, Chelsea would rather buy a fellani or another holding player cos there stupid

Agree1 Disagree7

It's more like Modric or Sniejder. Fabregas's heart is at Barcelona and moving to Chelsea doesn't make sense we are their bitter rivals.

Agree2 Disagree4

Les Arse' our bitter rivals? Nah. . maybe in the last 8 years or so. Our historic rivals are Spurs and Leeds United.

WHY DO CHELSEA WANT TO SELL DROGBA?

THEY CAN AFFORD HIS WAGES AND PLAYS ALMOST EVERY WEEK SO WHY WOULD THEY SELL HIM TO ANYONE? ESPECIALLY RIVALS SPURS!

I KNOW HE'S GETTING ON A BIT BUT HE'S STILL GOOD ENOUGH.

MAN IN THE KNOW

Believable4 Unbelievable15

What's with all the yelling dude?

Hey, the guy is 33, and will turn 34 next spring. Be honest, he didn't light the world on fire last season. He's on the decline - it's obvious to see.

If someone is willing to give us decent cash for him, I say go for it.

Are Chelsea supporters compulsive hoarders? Why is it so hard for some of us to give things up? You don't see the other top teams keeping half of their squad into their 30's.

Agree13 Disagree2

We won't sell Drogba.

Agree2 Disagree13

We cannot live in the past anymore paying over a hundred thousand pounds a week to players well over 30. .
Drogba and Lampard have to go! And I am a die hard Chelsea fan!
Anelka

Agree10 Disagree2

To the guy that said drogba didnt set the world on fire, sound you try getting malaria and still be expected to carry the team single handed

Agree0 Disagree7

"carry the team single handed"

LOL we played no better or worse when he was sitting on the bench. I do know that it was more entertaining when he wasn't in there. No stupid long balls. Malaria or not, Drogba wasn't up to it, so why play him then? Just because a player used to be good for us shouldn't mean that they need to retire with us. This is a business, not the Hall of Fame.

Sure, keep the old guy when we could get some decent money for him. But yeah, let's let him play to the end of his contract and let him go for nothing.

The only players we sell are the youngsters for a few million. Good business acumen. *sarcasm*

Neymar to Real Madrid? No way. Altintop, Sahin, Ozil, Di Maria, CR7, Canales, Kaka, Higuain, Benzema. . too many offensive players for only 4 slots in the field.

Believable5 Unbelievable0

Let them have Neymar unproven in the PL, ide rather them go for Nasri.

Agree1 Disagree9

I pray that Neymar goes to Madrid! I hate him! they player we should get is Juan Mata/Perotti/Hulk. The have shown enough potential in Europe against some of the biggest clubs in Spain.

Agree0 Disagree7

I suppose that you hated Messi as well?

Has Ed002 Quit? {Ed001's Note - no, he is on his holidays.}

Believable0 Unbelievable2

Ed002 has probably had it with the same dumb, repetitive, "FIFA Manager" type questions. I wouldn't blame him if he did quit haha

Agree5 Disagree0

07 Jun 2011 12:47:38
When will ED002 be back? Cheers. {Ed001's Note - I am not sure, but he is unlikely to be about much for at least a week.}

Believable0 Unbelievable2

Has editor 002 gone to USA?? {Ed001's Note - I am not sure, but I think so.}

i really hope Sneijder signs and hiddink with the dutch connection can bring him in as he is easy the 3rd best midfielder in the world behind xavi iniesta Sneijder would fit so perfect and his amazing passing would be heaven for torres i think Sneijder is more of an important signing than neymar

Believable6 Unbelievable7

Everybody knows if hiddink comes, it wud be just for a year. why will sneijder risk moving from san siro to stamford bridge?? just because he is a dutch. he wud be 27 years old on 9th june. so i do not fancy him coming to chelsea because he is to near to the OLD AGE of 30, which management of chelsea fear so much.

Agree2 Disagree7

ed who are we looking at for the rmidfield
arda, willian, payet whoeever it is the player bought for that positiob will probably be the cheapest signing {Ed001's Note - it won't be the cheapest, it will be the player thought best for the club, Roman is not afraid to spend when there is a need for it!}

Believable2 Unbelievable3

Chelsea would definately land javier pastore and roman will break the bank. may be chelsea offer mikel in process because slow pace of serie A would be good for mikel. this is a guess but it is possible.

Agree1 Disagree5

F*** Pastore and Neymar! they WILL both fail in England name one player that came from Italy that was a big hit besides our own Zola? Name me one Brazilian striker/winger that was a success in the PL! besides D.Luiz and Ramires. I would take Juan Mata and Modric over Neymar and Pastore. Pastore is a lazy slow skinny giraffe like player in my eyes. Just because you see these players play good on YouTube don't mean they are good enough for PL. {Ed001's Note - Henry and Bergkamp both came from Italy too.}

Agree0 Disagree6

So David Luiz and Ramires are striker/wingers now? Wow, someone better tell them that.

If we were so lucky getting 2 of the most successful Brazilian players (your words), then I suppose that we're charmed; the exception to your myopic view. Let's go after the rest of the Brazilian National team then!

to be honest iam getting abit sick of chelseas transfer dealings over the last few years seems like we do all the chasing of players for other clubs to just walk in and say thanks and sign them i.e looks like real madrid are now wanting neymar aswell as barca after we have been trying to get his signature for along time now gone are the days when if you liked a player you talked to the player the player signs all done and sorted now everything dragged out for months and months [tevez fabragas c ronaldo neymar ]

Believable5 Unbelievable1

07 Jun 2011 11:34:12
Chelsea should just offer 70 - 80 million for Fab and Nasri. Bring back sturridge, buy neymar and a Rb.

Sell all the usual suspects mentioned generate Roman some pocket change. All good.

Its not like Roman can't afford it, and knowing wegner, hed probably let it happen too. Neymar Torres Nasri

Fab Essien Lampard

Cash Ivan Luiz Vdw

Terry, Danny, Ramires Kakuta Josh etc off bench.

Believable2 Unbelievable6

Get lampard out of that starting line up right nw.

Agree4 Disagree1

Hell NO! I want Essien and Lampard benched or sold! I want Josh, Danny, Ramires all to start.

ed when will start selling playrs when hiddinks confirmed because thers alot of players that need to be gone {Ed001's Note - players are already being sold, clubs don't want to sign them too early or they have to pay them for a holiday.}

Believable0 Unbelievable1

German club Hamburg paid a combined 2.5 million for the three players manciene, sala & tore. Such a disgrace! ! chelsea are very bad selling club. they usually allow people to go on free agents (like joe cole, borini, rajkovic( he was bought for a heavy price tag as an teenager if people remember), ballack, deco, belleti, cudicini) and also sell their youngsters at dirt cheap prizes. tore was a good prospect for future. being a chelsea fan it is very bad feeling to know that the so called management is so bad in their logical thinking. most of the people are fantacising about new signings like neymar and others, but wud club succeed holistically until the club syops divorcing managers every 18 months or so.

then i don't know what wud happen to bruma , bertand, kalas, kakuta if chelsea do sign expensive players like subotic, pastore and others. infact i think we can use bertrand as an attacking right back. chelsea have ample people to cover left back position like van anholt and ben gordon.

anythoughts are welcome by editors. . .

KINGS XI CHELSEA {Ed001's Note - it is difficult to sell players for a decent price when they are on high wages.}

Believable1 Unbelievable5

I agree we ned to have faith in the youth coming through the ranks, Kakuta was hailed as the next big thing and has not been given the chance. Barca play there youths we dont. We will continue to spend large ammounts on youth and then sell them on for very low prices.

ed i don't see us being linked with any homegrown players and looks like all the good ones are being snapped up pjones liverpool henderson liverpool wickham liverpool downing liverpool young man u cahill mcity
all that's left is mccarthy and rodwell
are we not thinking about the player quoter {Ed001's Note - the club have plans in place to make sure the club hits its home grown quota, they aren't stupid, don't worry.}

Believable0 Unbelievable4

Look back to a recent post answered by Ed002 about home grown quota's. We're covered.

Hiddink is coming and thinks he needs to make five signings. . .

Footballing centre back (which may mean Luiz is earmarked for midfield?)

Versatile midfileder who can play attacking or defensive position

Goalscoring midfielder (Frank's replacement?)

Teenage striker (Lukaku?)

Creative forward (Neymar?)

No right back! !

Believable2 Unbelievable7

Is there any difference between forward and strikrr????

ED001 which players in your view are most likely to come? {Ed001's Note - personally I expect Neymar, a right back, striker, at least two midfielders and a keeper. I am not sure who though, I have lost track a bit of Chelsea due to Ed002 having such good contacts I haven't needed to keep up with things there, I could just ask him. But he has selfishly gone away for a few days and I will have to chase up what I can find out myself now as I doubt he will be about much for a while.}

Believable0 Unbelievable4

Neymar and pastore are most likely.

Agree1 Disagree5

We will sign de bruyne, lukaku, sneijder, neymar, van der weil, courtios and piazon and wallace in january

Agree0 Disagree5

06 Jun 2011 22:58:00
{Ed001's Note - the team was strong enough to win things last season, it is the squad that lacked depth. That is going to be addressed this summer.}

So ED001 you think more changes will be made to the squad then the actual first team? i think a new rb will be bought lampard won't play as many games as last year and anelka will be replaced. {Ed001's Note - I expect a much stronger squad, there won't be the reliance on kids to back up the first team.}

Believable0 Unbelievable3

I disagree with you Merieles was one of best LFC players in second half of season.
Would Pastore fit in EPL who knows?
