I know we just had the Jan transfer window and we are a long way off the summer window, but who would you guys like to see leave and sign?
For me it's:
Leave:
Begovic (wants games)
Terry (retire)
Costa ( only if he wants to)
Matic/ cesc ( don't want them to but if either of them go I won't be too sad)

Sign
Aguero/ griezmann (if Costa leaves)
Gordon
A backup rwb for Moses.

To prevent taking up the entire page with one post I'll just list the player names but would be willing to thoroughly defend each thought.

Out - Begovic, Terry, Fabregas, Costa for sure. I also wouldn't be upset at all if Cahill or Willian left.

In - backup GK, Christensen (from loan), Nelson Semedo or Serge Aurier, Naby Keita (everyone should take the chance to watch him), new Striker (this discussion itself is a long one), and if Willian left Inaki Williams or Felipe Anderson.

Wouldn't want Aurier with all his issues and I don't see Inaki Williams leaving given the tax breaks Basque players get. Felipe Anderson's form has varied a lot over the last 2 seasons so would be worried about whether he could replicate his best form on a consistent basis.

Out - Terry, Costa, Cahill, fabregas
I only would want to lose Cahill but this is who I bleive could leave .
Loan - chalobah good prem team, rlc, same,
In - Romagnoli, veratti or Koke, NΓ©lson Semedo,
Aguero / Sanchez/ Griezmann,
Then have a good smash at the champions league.

TK they've got to be the worst selections I've ever seen.

I think the question really comes down to what players you think would bring the club forward most, what players are we linked with, and what players are realistic targets. You could come up with a different set of players for each scenario and that's really why you see such a variety. For instance I really think we would be bettered with an inside forward with exceptional pace and therefore listed inaki Williams and Felipe Anderson. A realistic target that we've been linked with would be bernardeshi. I would also hesitate to lay into other people's lists Eden. For instance if you think Luke Shaw would ever get sold by Jose to Chelsea then you need to see a doctor.

Anything can happen in football if Luke Shaw wanted to come to Chelsea he could force a move. I'm pretty sure Jose sold Cech to Arsenal or did he not?

It was Abramovic who sold Cech as Mourihno didn't want him. gone.

{Ed002's Note - The owner does not sell players. Cech was always due to move when he did to co-incide with Courtois taking over - this was explained way back.}

If you'd like to abide by the anything can happen mantra then I'll take bale, bellerin, pogba, and aubamayang.

I'm worried about Cortois leaving.

Otherwise I like Bernadeschi (002 says he's off to Inter, but I hope there's a chance) Icardi or Morata would be great (Icardi is unlikely)

And we probably need a defender or two, certainly a right back. Christiansen would be great, Van Dijk a dream but realistic, and there's no obvious RB so I'll leave that.

If we're talking dreams then I think Dybala is the best prospect in the world. But I'm guessing Real Madrid or Barcelona will think that too.

leaving: courtois; costa; terry; fabregas; begovic.

in: joe hart; lukaku; kessie; rudiger

all of these are possible to get in - i would love griesmann and verratti but don't think either is possible - verratti wants to go home to italy and i'm praying that psg come in for griesmann cos i couldn't stand him going to united.

This bakayo guy or whatever he's called looks great. A great future star! But if we do sign him does that end rlc or chalobah's Chelsea career? With fab, kante, Matic, and bakayo will they want to be 5th choice.

IMO if we want rlc and chalobah and ake and our youth players to become first team players they need game time! Sending them out on loan is pointless because when they come back they are not going to get into the team. Ake, was having a great season at Bournemouth, he got recalled and isn't going to play. It's alright playing cup matches but if they don't get prem game time they won't develope into a starting player for us. Look at dele Alli. He has a starting spot at Spurs and that could be chalobah or rlc for us. We don't need to sign any midfielders! We need to stop playing Matic every game, give cesc some more starts along with our youth.

Just my opinion although I love Diego, he hasn't played as well as he can in recent games. Against Arsenal he lost the balla lot despite having good strength he created nothing. He had some good moments (like the header) but other than that, and his selfish play in shooting rather than passing to Willian in the last 10 minutes, he didn't do much. Not saying I want him to leave, he's vital to our team, I'm just saying against Burnley maybe he should be dropped and give michy a chance. If not he will never develops as a footballer and his transfer to Chelsea could possibly end his career as he doesn't play any games.

With the team 3 nil up, Costa being a bit selfish doesn't concern me in the least. He had the confidence to take the shot on, and I for one want to see that in my main goalscorer. I've give you the "selfish" shout if the game was a draw and the pass to a player in a better position should be the best choice, but in this case, I defend Diego. He was right to shoot. It was a similar angle to the West Brom goal, and we all we delighted with that.

This season, 15 goals in 22 games with 5 assists, the bloke is allowed to have an off day, or two.

Play the strongest team available until the league is decide, then let the youth run riot.
