City managed to get an equaliser in stoppage time, but still dropped points! 7 ahead now.
Pellegrini still having trouble with math! He thinks they're only 6 points behind :-P
If we can put a run together now I think we can be really confident right now nothing is certain, 7 points ahead is great but we must stay focused especially against the lower placed teams.

Pretty decent game. Think the ref was all over the place with his decisions, terribly inconsistent with his yellow cards. Sloppy goal to concede, just finish from Ivanovic and Hazard.
It was a shame that the team didn't really push on after the opener. IMO we possibly could've finished this game in the first half. Good reaction after the equaliser though, especially once Remy came on.
Credit where it's due though, Villa weren't truly awful. They weren't very good but certainly decent enough and they gave us problems at times.

Indeed he was awful today. Remy should definitely have been preferred and I hope Mourinho will finally realise that now.

Ramires will need to come off at some point before he's sent off the 3rd time time against Villa. Think the yellow card was soft though.
He broke his streak of red cards!
Made me extremely nervous though, with JM keeping him on the pitch the whole 90mins.
Was telling my brother that I really feared him getting a second booking. He agreed :)
Felt relief every time they announced a substitution but then nervous again when he didn't come off aha. In the end it doesn't matter though, he stayed on and we won.

I would've gone with Ake and Remy, but I trust Mourinho on this one.

If we keep a clean sheet today he will keep the same back four it's got nothing to do with rotation they've had a week off.
We have a match against everton this wednesday got to keep the team fresh with rotation. I think zouma and remy will both start in this match

{Ed002's Note - Nothing has changed - Arsenal's interest has not been a secret. Chelsea stepped back from any deal after discussions when an issue became clear - if that goes away then it is possible something could still be done. Bayern is no longer pushing for him. Real Madrid would like a deal but need to move others on - which it looks like they will. Barcelona may look to striking a deal for January 2016 if they decide to move Suarez on but Reus has made it clear that he feels let down by them last summer. Manchester United may be interested as well - but would need to put an offer on the table to the club and player in the next four weeks - there is nothing at the moment. Obviously Dortmund want him to sign a new deal.}
