Casillas
Abate Varane Silva Coentrao

Ramires Luiz Oscar

Hazard Lukaku Ronlado

Believable1 Unbelievable12

Been playing far too much football manager!
Absolutely no chance!

Agree9 Disagree0

Is this guy on the wind up? a whole new defence that would probably cost in the region of minimum 60 million! also we already have the best left back in the world and Azpi who is a perfect no nonsense right back that makes next to no mistakes!

Dan1CFC

Agree5 Disagree0

Someones been playing to much fifa

Agree4 Disagree0

Ronlado sounds a good bet for the summer, i've never heard of him so he should be cheap!

Agree5 Disagree1

Dan, you realise he is joking around yeah?

Do my fellow chelsea fans think the 16th minute applause/singing for di matteo will still be around if mourinho where to take over.

NWBLUE

Believable3 Unbelievable1

Unlikely. Even if it did, it would be more of a respect shown for a Chelsea legend and manager who won us the Champions league rather than a slight to the current manager.

. And the moral of the story is, don't believe everything you hear or read in the press!

What makes me happy is a terrible performance but we done what we needed, Oscar hazard mata none were there usual self mile was really good but we won so who cares, v Rubin Kazan Moses lamps ake Marin Torres can all play and have players fresh for the league games.

Believable2 Unbelievable3

We have Rubin on thursday night and like you say play marin torres lamps etc. but we then have City on sunday in the FA cup semi and knowing Rafa we will start the best team possible! but I believe the game against Fulham next Wednesday night is a massive game because its our game in hand again spurs and would give us a 3 point gap from them! dilemma

Dan1CFC

Agree3 Disagree0

If we rested most of our guys Thursday I would have no hessitation in letting them start Saturday and Wednesday.

Tk

Agree6 Disagree0

Totally agree, when we've been playing poor we have been losing games. Offensively our talented players were quiet but we were resilient and didn't give Sunderland a sniff at goal. I really want Luiz in midfield but he has been a lot more consistent and playing at a high level at CB recently.

Agree4 Disagree0

Yeah it is a dilemma and I'd go for best possible line up for man city and Fulham. Play a team that wil maybe not beat Rubin Kazan but not lose. So what's our best line up ( cue arguments )

Agree1 Disagree0

I believe our best line up is

Cech

Azpi Cahill Terry Cole

Agree1 Disagree4

Honestly don't think Terry is part of our best defense anymore, would rather have Luiz and Cahill.

Woeful passing. Azpi was unlucky but we should of dealt with it better. Need major improvement in the second half. Only Bertrand and Ramires look decent.

So sloppy. All of our play has been sloppy, us and spurs losing so far arsenal with an easy run could take our 4th spot

45 mins to save our season can we score 2 and kep them out. i'm not confident.

Believable0 Unbelievable3

Should have been confident ;)

First half we look slow, need bit of urgency, oscars passing not great, mata and hazard not getting any time or space on ball and as I thought, we would struggle in this game

if the spurs game stays as it is and we win at sunderland, we will be 3rd :3 {Ed018's Note - alot to ask for this early in it all}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

3rd with a game in hand. but I agree with ed far too early to be looking at this

jscottjr

Agree1 Disagree0

Let's concentrate on winning our own games

Agree2 Disagree0

We are crap losing to Sunderland, lost to qpr can't beat reading poor poor poor. It's one thing beating a pony team from Russia but this is our bread and butter. Win the game!

If Mourinho comes back:

Courtois
Azpilicueta Luiz Cahill Cole

Ramires Mikel
Oscar
Mata Hazard
Lukaku

Believable1 Unbelievable6

If Mourinho does come back and this is looking increasingly likely, then there will be some serious additions to the squad namely a striker and defensive midfielder. I do believe we have first refusal on Isco and Chelsea may also go for him.
Mikel is at best a squad player and not first team regular

Agree0 Disagree1

Mounhio won't play mikel!

Ed, why are the club so reluctant to bring Mourinho back?It seems they would rather hire literally anyone else. {Ed002's Note - You appear to be just making stuff up.}

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Ed, I know nothing, but it seems that José is almost begging the club to let him come back, ignoring other job offers and letting it be known how much he loves the club and the club seem to just be ignoring it. This is the best manager in the world, in my opinion, and we are just letting him slip away. It is killing me. {Ed002's Note - Everyday it is a different story in the press and most are nonsense at best. Tomorrow expect the straight swap of Mourinho for Kevin De Bruyne story to break. I am surprised it hasn't yet.

I have given up trying to explain things sensibly as all I get is abuse because someone uses Google to translate some Peruvian paper which says that Mourinho will be the new Dortmund manager and, seemingly, I failed to point out this when I explained that Klopp was taking over the German side from Loew who is moving to Chelsea. Everyday someone translates some Latvaian blog with more BS and expects me to start answering questions about it. I have no inclination to do this, and no time to answer such questions.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Sorry Ed, is it reasonable to say that Loew is going to be our new manager then if Klopp will be taking over the German national team?Apologies again.

Agree0 Disagree0

Good god there are some persons about

Agree1 Disagree0

This is hilarious

jscottjr

Agree2 Disagree0

No matter how much jose says he wants to come back, Chelsea can't offer him any deal because he is contracted to real, that would be tapping up and would have to pay to get him out his contract, and why would they do that when he will leave in the summer and then Chelsea can talk to him all they want, so I doubt anyone at Chelsea is "ignoring" jose
