Been away for a while so first post in ages . Was just wanting people's opinions on a subject me and my mates have been discussing.
If JT does leave then Diego Costa as captain
I'd be all for it, that captains armband means a lot and I reckon with his aggression, desire and possible leadership he could be the man?

Respect your opinion ed of course, but I just reckon if he could channel his agressive into something and have that responsibility, he would make a great leader and therefore captain. John Terry was no saint before he became the legend he his today .

If he does stay, I'll give Hazard, Azpi and Fabregas would also be great choices I feel.

Still my choice from a discussion last Summer. I'd pick Azpilicueta all day long. Model professional - with the right trust and guidance could be our version of Lahm.

Azi for me. Done his time, must have digested a lot from Terry and a defender. Could make a good captain.

Not enough leaders in this team. I like the idea of Costa but too risky I think. Hazard would be a bad shout (although I do love him) and I'm starting to see a lot of negatives in Azpi's game and he hasn't stepped up and showed much leadership this season. As much as I wish we had a better option, I think Cesc is the only option at this time.

hazard or cesc for me say what you want about him but when he is confident he is so influencial cesc too.
