He is mostly like Xabi Alonso can play as a defensive midfielder and and dictate the pattern of play with his fabulous passes.He can also play as an attacking midfielder with equal efficiency.He is also currently playing as center back this year under Bielsa ;he has been absolutely sublime there starting plays and dictating the pace from the back.He is versatile player of class will be an asset to any team.

Was just about to put up a very similar team..was thinkin maybe moura in instead of fellani but you would need fellani's presence there and i also think we'll buy hulk so id have him on the wing where you have moura,would be an amazing side for a fair amount of money i think,it is only 3/4 players of world class quality..exciting times and lets hope we get these players so torres can shine again

I was here critisizing his performances. But it was merited. He has upped his game amazingly in this run. But so had Drogba, Obi, Cole to name a few. If he continues at this level - i can't think of anyone doing it better.

I think mikel has been average, his passing aint good atall hes far too slow.
Mikel is good on the ball and tackling but he is horrendous in spotting danger doesn't see the runs in behind him at all and is slow on the turn..but to his credit he has tried hard

Ed, worst case for Chelsea now is lose CL final and thus no CL.
The finance is well publicised, but what kind of impact can winning the FA Cup abd appearing in CL final have on recruitment appeal-wise? A big draw, or dwarfed by no elite european football {Ed002's Note - The FA cup will make no difference.}

We still can make 4th place! Win both our games and I think we will! Spurs play Fulham at home and Fulham are tough to play against and you can see Spurs ain't the same as they were at the beginning of the season. Can't see Newcastle getting a win at Everton but they should be proud of the season they've had.

A couple of players I believe would add depth to our squad,not necessarily first team:
Clint Dempsey,McLean (Sunderland),Adam Johnson,Ben arfa,fellani,tiote,Defoe.
Also not demanding huge transfer fees
Would rather bring through lukaku, mceachran, kakuta, bamford, kane but i would have fellaini BLUEBOY1

Liverpool fan here. Well congrats gents, really you were the better team for most of the match and it wasnt until Carroll came on that we looked to threaten. But im not too disheartened to tell you the truth, because if you offered me the FA cup now and Carroll to play rubbish or we lose but gai a 35 million pound striker in the process that, if he keeps up that kind of form could lead us for the next 5 years. I'd take Carroll recapturing form and finally looking like the player we paid for. Anyway, i do have a biased opinion as im a pool fan so i would love to know your thoughts on him. Is he still crap? Was it a one off? Or do you think that Liverpool and England could be getting a striker who can really dominate the back 4? Again congratulations, you were the better team and i think Ramires is utter class.

No name i asked your guys opinion because i wanted an unbiased opinion, which i stated. As everyone at Liverpool either backs him to the most they can, or hates him. So i wanted the opinion of fans who didnt really care about his performances, hence giving a much valued opinion. I never once said "I want you to get on your hands and knees and worship the ground he walks on" so i dont know why your unable to give an opinion. But nevermind, thankyou to the other 2 posters who have given there view though.

Good win and all that but something that really annoyed me today was when we lifted the cup , when mikel lifted the trophy he didn't pass it along the line for all the players to have there moment, especially di Matteo. he deserved that moment.
Thought it should a lack of class.

Well done Chelsea. We were poor first half. Proud of our second half but Chelsea defended well in the last 30 mins and controlled the first hour.
