I'm trying to stay positive but I can't. I love Mourinho more than anything and I want him to succeed at Chelsea but he seems to have zapped away all attacking ability in our team. Costa and Fabregas just aren't good enough. Can't see us finding a quality striker who would want to join us next season. I'd just give Remy his chance and bring Solanke back as back up. Why not give our hungry youngsters a chance Loftus-Cheek and Traore should be starting over Fabregas and Oscar.

And our best left backs on loan at Watford in Ake. Ramires might not have fantastic technical ability but the lads a fighter and doesn't give in. Most players at the club now just aren't mentally good enough to win. Remember when we had Ballack, Essien and Lamps centre midfield? What a sensational trio, and who have we got now? A donkey in Fabregas who's been poor all year yet he still keeps picking him.

Ake our best left back? Haha. Brilliant. Sounds like a lot of people on here want all the youngsters to play but will also be the first ones to moan and criticise when we still lose.

Cesar is our best left back, he kept the best left back in Europe out the team last year. That says a lot.

Not just Fabregas under performing, hazard been in&out, Oscar, Costa, Matic, Ivanovic, Cahill all not performed week in week out. That's our problem. Too many players off form all at the same time.

Bring some reinforcements in, in January and we'll have a good second half of the season.

Get behind the team instead of bloody moaning.

At least you guys are now seeing what I've been seeing long time ago. Mou is not the right man for this crop of players.

What? Yet we won the league at a canter last season. Yeah alright then mate. Down to the players I'm afraid. Too many of them not performing to their abilities. Oscar, Costa, Fabregas. Been no where near good enough this season.

Trying to stay positive which is very difficult this season so I'm thinking there is a possible 69 points still available to play for. If we can take say 50 points there is still a small chance of making a top four place going on last seasons end of table. obviously last seasons results have nothing to do with this but you can see what I'm getting at. Utd finished on 70pts, and over the last couple of seasons that has roughly been enough to secure 4th spot. Really clutching straws here but we have a good squad that for some reason has lost its way. I don't think sacking Jose would be the right move on the basis of there being know one out there to replace him. Klopp would of been great as he puts his teams out to entertain and uses a lot of young players. Jose wherever he has been has had a strong powerful team that bullied and harassed the opossition, he does not have anything near that here at Chelsea. The players are too light weight and don't get stuck in enough. I believe that's the main reason we are struggling because the players are more suited to a different style of football than the manager.

With mourinho looming over the current situation who do you guys want to see replace him if he gets fired . Have any of you lost faith or think he's lost his touch. I personally think since Madrid he's been a different character my personal choice would be guus hiidink but wether we will get him is another story God only knows who they could be lining up looks like klopp would of been the buisness but he's gone . Any thoughts on the mourinho situation I don't no what to make of him any more iv lost a bit of faith In him he continues to play out of form players why not give loftus cheek a go? That is a mistery he's also left some very good players go an never giving them a proper go Bertrand is the main one for me and it looks like he made the right decision with schurrle.

The guy I wanted to be the next manager os now Liverpool gaffer. For me. got to be Ancelotti! Wrongfully sacked in the first place. Real Madrid played stunning football under him and watching us under him is the best I've ever seen us play, amazing football under Ancelotti. Get him back please Roman! I don't think I'd want Simeone, he's very similar to Mourinho with his style of play. Guardiola won't be coming either!

06 Dec 2015 16:42:19
I would prefer simeone to be honest simply because we might lure koke and griezman if we got him and I think we have a fantastic team and he would make us hard to beat and have the team working very hard pressing like you see klopp is doing at Liverpool and proving very affective . for me Jose has to go he looks clueless and rlc and co will never get a crack at the first team properly under mourinho.

06 Dec 2015 17:18:34
No Simeone, because it will be the same. Ancelotti's the best out there, but things don't always turn out so well second time around as its shown with Jose. Maybe worth taking a punt on a young hungry manager who would experiment and even try youth i.e. De Boer or Pocchetino.

I still have faith in jose, but feel his sacking is inevitable soon. In an ideal world I would like Hiddink until the end of the season and then Pep to take over. Don't know how realistic that is though.

Ideally i'd hope mourinho is able to keep his job and turn around our fortunes. But if he is sacked I would love to see guardiola join. It would be a dream. He can attract any player in the world and could even turn around Fabregas form. Realistically i'd take ancellloti as I thi the football he plays is class and would bring a few trophies. Simeone intrigues me as he has a similar philosophy to mourinho but more emphasis on youth which I like. His passion too. Otherwise I just hope to god Benitez doesn't get the boot around the same time as Jose does!

Guardiola will never join Chelsea as we are too much of a job at the minute. He walked into an outstanding Barcelona team and then the finished article in Bayern. Basically the hard work was already done before he managed both teams.

Like some of the above I think it is inevitable that Jose will go very soon.
There appears to be no plan b. when you look at the team yesterday, how many of them are good enough.
Courtois yes
Ivanovic no, replace with Ola aina
Zouma yes
Cahill no, replace with Christianson
Baba no not ready yet replace with Dave
Matic yes
Fabregas no absolute disgraceful replace with RLC
Willian yes
Oscar no not big enough or strong enough
Hazard yes
Costa no clearly IMO a one season wonder not good enough, commitment and attitude disgraceful
This is my opinion, I feel there needs to be changes to put younger team out and forget this season and build for future. Trouble is Jose talks about youth but there is no evidence of playing and integrating them into the team.

HOW DO YOU SOLVE THE PROBLEM?
Hey everyone. I've cooked down after yesterday's disaster and thought I'd put across my view and opinions for you to either shoot down or agree with.
It all revolves around one thing, something I never thought would have been an option a year ago! The God himself, the special one. needs to go.
As much as it pains me, he's my favourite ever manager, I've got his signed photo on the wall, but for the sake of the club things have got to change!
Let's start with yesterday. Now no offence to Bournemouth, they're a lovely team to watch and I think Eddie Howe is doing a great job, but, we're playing Bournemouth at home. Now I don't know about anyone else but alarm bells started ringing when I saw the line up. Negativity all over the pitch! No striker at a home match, possibly one of the best full backs in world football left on the bench, and yet again Ruben Loftus-Cheek sat on the bench. That's just the start of the negativity. Now I have no issue with the defence apart from 1 position, Branislav Ivanovic should be nowhere near the starting spot at RB! Is it a shock our defence had a patch of games where we actually defended well because he was out injured? Don't get me started on his football ability, I've seen 10 year olds with better crossing ability than him. Moving on to the midfield. Matic has no confidence, he's doing 2 peoples job. Fabregas. get rid. Can't tackle, can't run, no desire to run back, basically if he's standing still with nobody around him he can pick a great pass, but that's all he's got now. Oscar has been terrible and hasn't kicked on since we signed him, he didn't even work hard yesterday which is the main reason everyone wants him in the team. Hazard and Willian I have no problems with, clearly our best 2 players. Strikers, Costa is a mardy bloke who's more interested in fighting, if you love fighting so much Diego go and take up MMA. For me Loic Remy should be first choice, he gets in the box and finishes chances. END OF!
Lets move on to my second point. Shocking transfer history. De Bruyne (He preferred Oscar, I know, laughable isn't it), Mata, Lukaku, Schurrle, Felipe Luis. All sold because they crossed Mourinho or he simply didn't like them. Crazy! Absolutely ridiculous! Lukaku is now one of the best strikers in Europe, KDB doesn't even need me to justify him, and Felipe Luis would have solved our full back problem right now! Compare those sold to the people bought, Salah, Cuadrado, Falcao. All flops (will all most likely turn out brilliant, they just don't suit Mourinho's boring system) . I'm not blaming Mourinho alone here, I think Emenalo has a lot to answer for, he should go with Mourinho I think! Whichever way you look at it, although some great players have arrived too, the number don't look good!
Thirdly, having watched the interview after the game, Jose simply does not have a clue how to resolve this problem! No idea whatsoever! I'm sorry special one, but "I'll get back to working hard on Monday" doesn't quite cut the mustard for me. He's not watching the same game as every Chelsea fan in the country! Everyone on this forum can see where he's making mistakes, is he just blind or choosing to ignore the facts?
If the club decide to persist with him than fair enough. There are a few things that need changing. Nathan Ake has to be recalled, he's the star of Watford's defence, who don't concede goals. He can also play midfield which would come in handy for us. Ivanovic is done, end of, yesterday should be the last time we see him put a blue shirt on. sorry Brana, you've been one hell of a servant but you're time is done. Cesc needs to go, either drop him or get rid, I really don't care! Ruben Loftus-Cheek should play EVERY SINGLE MINUTE LEFT THIS SEASON! I don't care if you think he's lazy Jose, if I want a hard working runner I'll sign Mo Farah. He's young, mobile, and let's be honest when you've got Man U, Man City, Real Madrid and Bayern keeping an eye on your contract situation you're clearly a good player. If he doesn't start playing than adios Ruben, he'll leave. All because the blind one loves his little Cesc and Oscar. Oscar, done with him. had enough chances, get rid at the end of the season! Striker, as I said earlier I think Remy should be our number 1 choice. If you want to play costs than we need to play 2 strikers, as he never gets in the box.
So I'm sorry I've written this novel today, but the talk of a "non crisis" at the club I love made me want to express myself this morning! I think it's time for Roman to make his mind up. Either change now, or risk losing more than just our champions league position. Emenalo should go regardless of the Mourinho decision.
Let me know what you think, and if you persisted with this post I appreciate you reading my opinions.
Your fellow Chelsea fan, Nick.

Chelsea Nick I was with you until the part about Oscar, I think he would go elsewhere and do wonderful like others who are played out of their best position. He's not a winger and watching the 1st half he was not anywhere near as bad as Cesc yet he's consistently the first player taken off (yesterday after 45min) or dropped in the Jose era and no-one talks about that. How the hell is he supposed to Improve or have confidence. My other point is what really is our offensive philosophy when in possession? Beyond counter attacking football I've yet to figure out what we try to do to score each week.

Think your about spot on with most things and to be fair you thoughts are like mine only th KDB and Lukaku situation we don't really no what went of in the club with them and if there damanding things they haven't yet worked for them the club did right in my eyes to off load nobody is bigger than the club saying that we would look a lot better if they were in the team now. I agree with everything else fabregas Oscar not good enough.

Thanks for the feedback guys! Bluelab I totally agree, we don't have an attacking philosophy. We need to realise we were blessed to have Didier Drogba up front for years who won balls in the air, linked up play around the box and knew where the net is! Nibby I totally agree with the KDB and Lukaku, nobody is bigger than the club, but unfortunately I think it's more to do with Mourinho. If you cross him, he cuts you out and freezes you out of the squad. There's no way back if he doesn't like you, it's petty! I remember when KDB played against Hull on the first game of the season a few years back, was rightfully man of the match after playing a blinder and then Jose dropped him from the squad and he didn't appear for the next 4 weeks! Now that is something that's confidence destroying! Fact is KDB is a different class to Oscar, and I would personally take the risk and sell him, I don't see him developing in to a world class CAM unless it's in a league like La Liga where you can afford to be lightweight and non physical. Our whole squad philosophy has changed. Jose's teams were always physically big players, all 6 feet tall, physically imposing whilst being great footballers. We're too lightweight all over the pitch! To think we had a midfield of Lampard, Essien, Ballack is scary!
In reality we need to strengthen a lot! Kane would be my first choice striker, he's made for the prem. Stones is a must for me, but doubt he'd come now. Central midfield is the standout position. I'd like to see us play 433 with a midfield 3 of Matic, Loftus-Cheek and another world class central midfielder (I'd love Pogba but he's probably laughing at us right now) .

I think it's contradictory to blame the director of football at the same time say Jose has let go of many good players. as we all know the Emalano was there before Jose came back. The problem is the manager and ealier the club wakes up the better. it's was not a good idea for him to comeback a lot of negativity to the club. And don't tel me I did say that last year because we won the league. I said it even before he joined. His game is outdated and new ideas.

Everyone said Cloughie's Nottingham Forest were too good to go down - they said the same about West Ham and Leeds. Those 3 teams all had good players, a lot of possession, but struggled to score goals - sound familiar? The sooner we stop talking about 4th place (or now 6th place! ) and accept the reality of the situation, the better. And the reality is that we are almost half way through the season, we don't create enough, we don't get players in the opponents box, and we are in a relegation fight.

That's all true but none of those sides you mentioned were run away champions the season before, its obvious things that have happened earlier in the season have taken away the us against the world mentally mourinho was trying to build up and the togetherness of last season isn't there anymore.
Chelsea will no way be relegated and next season will be right back pin the title race the only question is wether its with or without mourinho.
