Hi Ed,

I was wondering if there was any update on the Cavani situation. Do Chelsea still maintain an interest? If so is there a good possibility of a move?

thanks

Have I had my head in the sand, or has Bamford still not gone out on loan?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Not moved yet, played for the U21's at the weekend.

Sell Schurrle to Atletico then buy Reus/Di Maria. ? I still think we are one world class winger away from being one the Real Bayern level.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Why would we sell Shurrlle? IMO he has a huge potential, and I think he has a good chance of being a regular starter next season.

{Ed018's Note - agreed}

I think he's performances at the World Cup speak for themselves, I admire he's work ethic & he can certainly bag goals for us this year

Seems to play better for his country then his club, Though after winning the world cup let's hope that will boost his performances for us.

Seems to play better because he has less tracking back and doesn't end up acting like a right back for his country. Getting rid of schurrle would be a complete joke. I'd rather see Willian go first.

Agree0 Disagree0

Whilst I'd love Reus, there are other players i'd sell before Schurrle.

I would hate to see Shurrlle leave? be one of the best players next year. We have complete squad I feel!

I really hope our summer spending isn't finished. been dead the last few weeks!

Hope the likes of Mikel, Torres n possible Ramires all move on.

Mine and most people choices would be pogba, varane and a striker.

Ed's any updates on any movements, attempts or possible interests.

Thank's

{Ed005's Note - Another Editor says there are still people trying to make some things happen at Chelsea so we can all wait and see what comes of it. }

Thanks ed005!
Fingers crossed!

Pogba and Varane is just being greedy we've got Fabregas - Matic - Oscar in midfield and I still can't wait to see what Van Ginkel has to offer being more box to box he could take Oscar's place if he's getting an extended rest. Also remember Ramires was better utilized in a 4-3-3 to help his bursts of pace so he should be a much better player this year.

We have Cahill, Terry, Ivanovic and Zouma for centre half which is probably the best in Europe IMO. If Terry retires next season THEN go for Varane.

The only position we now need is striker but that won't change until we get rid of Torres I'm hoping we can get rid of him and bring Bony in who is available.

Agree0 Disagree0

It's so obvious that JM doesn't want to get rid of Torres. About the rest that you have wrote I fully agree.

Agree0 Disagree0

We have great long term options at CB, as well as Zouma we have Omeruo and Kalas on loan and Ake (although he is playing less and less at CB) Chalobah and Christensen coming through the youth ranks.

Although I think Varane is a great player I would actually be slightly disappointed if we signed him, we could have a fantastic defense in a few years without spending anything.

I don't think it's a case that JM wants to keep Torres.

If the right offer came in from someone who was willing to pay the wage he demanded I get the feeling he'd be out the door. Not slowly. Very quickly on fact.

Agree0 Disagree0

Chn I doubt JM wants to keep Torres. Maybe last year he might of, so he could get an ego boost if he got the old Torres back. But now I'm sure he's realised that it won't happen. The fact is no-one wants to pay £175k/w for a crocked Torres.

Agree0 Disagree0

Fuser, Torres doesn't want to leave. In every JMs statement about Torres JM is seeing Torres as Chelsea player. Probably he has some reason to speak about Torres the way he does. If we get any top class striker instead of Nando that player would cost at least 200000€ per week as well as Torres or even much more. Falcao is on 280000€ net per week, Cavani is on 250000€ per week.

Agree0 Disagree0

Of course Torres doesn't want to leave. He'd rather run down his contract than take a massive pay cut and leave. I doubt JM wants Torres at Chelsea despite what he's stated publicly. Do you expect he'd say anything different? That JM would come out and say that we've been trying to flog Torres but no-one wants him?

Ed18, I was just wondering how you came to be involved in the site and what your background is? Are you involved in football or do you just do this in your spare time?

Thanks

{Ed018's Note - I volunteered to help with the site about 5-6 years ago. I don't work in football}

Cheers for everything ed! Appreciate it
