I think Oscar missing Cops America can prove as a blessing in disguise for us because the lad needs rest after playing in every summer for past 2-3 years.

The rest will surely help him to keep up his consistency throughout the season which he has failed to do in last 2 seasons.

PS - all that only if he stays, would love him to stay for one more season

Most probably already know how I feel about Oscar, but here I go again :-P
He just has to stay, plain and simple. Super talented, only 23 and already bossing games when he's on form. He's still inconsistent, I'll give you that, but that will get better as he gains experience and gets older.
Put Oscar in the Italian League for example and I think he'd get amazing stats there and if he wasn't ours everyone would be raving about him and posting that Chelsea have to buy Oscar because he's the next big thing. He'd probably be mentioned in the same breath as Pogba if he was playing at Juventus (a team that easily dominates domestically in a weak league).
The club have to keep him. We all saw what happens when he's on form during the first half of the season. Oscar is the one that makes the team click, not Fabregas IMO.

Really have to disagree with your last sentence. Fabregas is the best Chelsea player.
About Oscar he has to work on his physical ability. He must become stronger and improve his stamina, with his given skills he could become new Fabregas.

Any of u agree Oscar has been piss poor this year. who do you guys think we need to complete the team to the next level and challenge in cl next year . any of you expect ake rlc kalas or solanke make the step up next year. what about zouma he's going to be a monster for years to come dunno how he didn't take cahills position in the team although Cahill had been very good after the bad patch he had

He was ok he needs to really up his game big time he has been absolutely anonymous since Christmas we can't afford to have a number ten in terrible form the number 10 should be making the team click I really don't see what he has to offer he hasn't much pace he can't tackle he never scores and rarely sets the tempo of a game he has shown signs with a good goal here or there or the rare free kick other than that he's been the biggest disappointment since Torres considering we got rid of mata for him although I don't blame Oscar nor do I believe that's the real reason but still

Well antibot, I didn't mean to imply that Oscar is the best Chelsea player. But I do believe that he makes us tick offensively. Our best player is Hazard IMO, not Fabregas though.

Jackson no disrespect but what have you been watching the last 2 years Oscar has rarely made us tick how many assists and goals does he have for a player that's suppose to tick the team he's so overrated I will never get over selling mata to keep him he's useless I simply don't rate him simply because he hasn't shown me any reason to be rated I no u are entitled to your opinion as much as me and I'm not hear to argue with you pal but Jesus I really would like to no where you get your optimism from with Oscar . what u think of cuadrado? Agree with Jackson. We played magnificent when oscar was in from as Diego scored for fun, and Fabregas assisted for fun.

Now that oscar is out of the team/poor form , we've had to change our style and Fabregas hasn't been good at all.

That is where Jackson is coming from.

Just watch him closely next time he plays. He pops up all over the field to provide passing options to guys like Fabregas and Hazard. That way there can be some quick one-twos or quick passes around the box. Remember that Fabregas goal against QPR? That's what Oscar does so well IMO. Hazard has the ball on the wing and isn't in a very dangerous position. Well guess who provides a passing option for Hazard? Yes, it's Oscar. And that's what he does brilliantly IMO. He links the midfield and the attack and he's the one that provides quick interplay in the attacking third. He also takes up smart positions and makes smart attacking runs, in a way that our other attacking midfielders don't (perhaps Cuadrado but he hasn't gotten enough time on the pitch).
His tackling is pretty good and his pressing is just terrific! He's very intelligent in his defensive work.

Look, I probably won't convince you and that's okay. But I love Oscar and I think he's special. I'd be absolutely gutted to see him leave, more so than Luiz and even Mata.

Out of the form the only reason we're out of form is because fabregas has dried up and Costa has missed so much time on the pitch and I think a lack of rotation aswell let's hope Oscar comes along a bit next year I won't be getting my hopes up anyway but hey look at bale last night 100 million he won one ball all night that's pathetic

Dude that's so harsh on Oscar, he is a really decent player in fact on early season form I'd say he's more than decent, let's remember that our system doesn't always play to these young players strengths, I feel if we went all in most games Oscar would have at least done a bit more. For me I hope he stays especially if we get Koke, there will be no need to necessarily Sell Oscar, plus he is still so young left his home at a young age and has been playing first team football in a massive club, in one of the most difficult leagues in the world in the past three season in between representing his country and putting stellar performances.

Let's all step back and appreciate some of these guys a bit.

I dunno I wasn't gutted when luiz left just the fact that he was a complete liability in defence all though I love the guy he's a great character and as bad as his defending was he always wears his heart on his sleeve . what you guys make of morata last night I
He played about 15 times last season and he doesn't celebrate that's pathetic I can understand why lampard wouldn't celebrate against Chelsea or Henry against arsenal or whatever but come on like the guy made mostly only sub appearances maybe he's looking for a move back der in a few years which is a possibility he's a great talent

It's very funny to see that the school skippers seem to have such an effect on you Welsh. Please stop looking for attention and either continue using this for its comprehensive and valuable information, as well as communicating with other loyal fans, or just leave and go to another teams page and complain like you seem to have been doing for the passed few days. Not everyone agrees with other peoples opinions and there will always be haters. Just chill and view arguements from both sides and this site will be a lot more enjoyable, for yourself and others.

I'm young and I've been on here for almost 8 years and I get along with everyone, age is but a number, listen Welsh I've known you were supercesc since day one but I didn't say anything cause really I don't give a hoot and I'm sure no one else does, we all love Chelsea and come on here for that, as long as we respect the Eds and of course each other there is no reason why we can't all get along, your choice though mate it is a free world.
