First time I've really checked up with what's going on with our club for a few weeks since I've been watching the world cup etc.

And well it looks like absolutely nothing has changed, sure it might be difficult signing players due to the world cup, but you really would have hoped the club would have sorted the manager situation out in this time.

No idea what direction we're heading in currently, but you would hope by mid July we'll finally know who our manager is going to be, especially considering as the transfer window closes at the end of July this summer.

The world cup has been a nice distraction from our club for a few weeks, and here's hoping England can get another win on Saturday and on into the Semi Final. c'mon England!

what is your personal take on courtois is he all that he's cracked up to be?

He's a class goalkeeper but for me ever since he returned from Athletico he never really progressed. He's still definitely a top 5 GK but if he wants to leave and we replace him with Alisson, i won't miss him. Courtois is a better keeper but if Sarri is appointed, Alisson will suit his style of play better since we'll be playing out from the back. I don't blame him for wanting to leave either. If i was working in a different country from were my kids were and was unable to see them for 8-9 months of the year i'd want to move as well.

Clearly Courtois is a good goalkeeper but I do not think he is as good as Cech was. He is stronger in the air as Cech had a tendency to punch when he should have caught but as an all round shopper stopper I prefer Cech. That said I never felt he genuinely wanted Chelsea to take up his option to return and given where his family reside that is understandable. This constant talk by him about Madrid and I might, might not leave is not good for team spirit so I hope we let him go for as much as we can and buy a suitable replacement.

Best goalkeeper in the world from crosses. Not sure what you’re watching if you think Courtois is a flapper haha.
